CHAPTER 8

A month passed and Guzma was still having his adult tantrum.
The Aether foundation was making a party tonight, celebrating their 20 year anniversary. For the first time, you could change your clothes, they wanted everyone to wear appropriate clothing to the party. You and Alex went shopping for a dress while Luke went to buy a suit.
You thought you shouldn't buy something too formal since you were in team skull after all, so you went for a glittery dress (the one at the beginning).

That evening, after changing and adding some make up, Alex and you left the room you were at and waited at the corridor with everyone else.
'Damn it!' even though you tried to not wear too formal stuff, you were still the best dressed girl in there, even Alex said it.
"Wow Y/n you look awesome!" Luke approached you, "I know right, i told her!" Alex said. You shyly smiled.

Some minutes later Plumeria appeared wearing a really short silver dress, some guys started whistling.
"Shut up, lets go!"

You all went to Hau'oli city in Melele island. Apparently there was a really cool club and aether chose to throw the party there.

When you arrived you saw how huge the place was. The aether members were already there. Some grunts began approaching the bar to get some drinks, others went to dance. Your friends and you sat on a sofa which had a small table. Watching the people dance, you three noticed Guzma arriving through the front door probably drunk, "What the hell..." says Alex. He sits alone on a big sofa and starts to drink from a bottle. You couldnt see much due to the low lights and all the people but some girls approached him as if he were a playboy.
You three were a bit disturbed about it so you stopped looking, "Damn!" said Luke, "Ugh lets not think about Guzma now, lets go dance!", Alex suggested. Luke immediately got up "Yep! Lets hit it!", you really didnt feel like dancing at that moment so you passed.
You drank your martini while watching them dance until someone shows up right in front of you. You look up and see a tall man with shiny blue eyes and raven hair, "Hello, may i sit?", you stuttered a bit "Y-yeah sure.". He stared at you, which made you quite uncomfortable, "My name is Grimsley" he finally said, "and you are?", "uhm my name is Y/n. Are you from the Aether foundation?", he tilted his head, "No, I thought you were. You are so nicely dressed i didnt think you were part of team skull.", you froze a bit, his face was too damn familiar but you couldnt see him well. Also his name.. "W-wait a minute... Grimsley!?" you widened your eyes, "Nice to see you again, Y/n" he smiled. He was part of the Elite four back in Unova, you had battled with him before but he had beaten you. "What are you doing here?!" you asked, "Its a long story, i quitted the Elite Four, too boring. I decided to come to Alola to live, there isnt pretty much anything to do in Unova you know. However, i should be the one asking, why are you part of team skull?", that question made you shiver, "I... Guzma stole my pokemon and he forced me to stay otherwise i dont know what he could do to them.", "what does he need you for?", you mentally laughed "I really dont know, and at this point im too afraid to ask". There was a silence between you two, you hadnt noticed how close he was to you now, also his arm was around your shoulder, "Then let me get you out of here, I'll take you with me", you widened your eyes, "what about my pokemon?" Grimsley turn your face to see Guzma now surrounded by girls, you didnt know he was that popular, "Do you think hes going to notice? We'll make a plan to get your pokemon back." You look back at him, this man might actually get you out of there. You smiled and he smiled too,
"Okay".
