Nakakatakot isiping may mga bagay na maaaring mawala sa oras na sumuko ka. Ang mga bagay na inalagaan mo, pinahalagahan mo, ay basta basta nalang maglalaho sa oras na tumigil ka na sa pagod. Pero may mga bagay din na kailangan mo nang sukuan, hindi dahil pagod ka na, kundi dahil kahit na anong gawin mo, hindi mo na mababago ang katotohanan na hindi siya para sayo. Kailangan mo nang bumitaw dahil kahit kelan, hindi magiging kayo. Sa sitwasyon ko, kailangan ko na ding bumitaw, dahil ikamamatay ko ang pagmamahal sa taong iyon.

Marcus' P.O.V

Mag iisang oras na din akong andito sa labas ng clinic.

Nahimatay kanina si Christalline sa liblib na lugar sa school. Wala sakanyang nakakita except sa student na nagconfront sakin. Agad kong tinawagan yung doktor ni Christal.

Natahimik pa ako sandali..

After 30 min.

Lumabas na yung doktor ni Christal.

"What's the result?" agad na tanong ko sakanya.

"She's fine and she's awake already.. but let me tell you this Marcus. The next time that she became unconscious, I cannot tell but she might not pass her operation when she turns 19." sabi niya.

"What about her sickness?" tanong ko.

"It's still the same, congenital heart disease, but as I was saying, she's about to break a heart string and it'll result to broken heart syndrome. During this times, it's gonna be hard for her, the burning sensation and the pain at her chest will be more frequent even her muscle pains and back pains. I need you to give her these medicines, to be taken regularly, 3 times a day, this will help her endure the pain, but let me tell you this, once her sickness turns to a broken heart syndrome, she won't be taking any medicines or treatments, there is no cure to BHS.. So please, take care of her. I won't tell this to her mom because it would be bad for her stress and mental state, besides Christal pleaded me not to.. so Marcus, you'll be the one to take care of her ok?" litanya niya.

"Yes, I'll do everything." sabi ko.

Nag usap pa kami sandali at umalis na din siya.

Pumasok ako sa ward ni Christalline.

"Hey.." bulong ko.

I have my hands in the pocket, at nakasandal ako sa pinto.

She smiled weakly.. She looked away.

Nilapitan ko siya.

"Bat ayaw mong pasabi kay tita?" tanong ko.

"It's just that.. She doesn't know anything about me and ayoko sakanyang paalam dahil for sure, madadagdagan nanaman yung rules ko, besides she's stressed and sleep deprived, she's taking medicines." sabi niya.

I smiled at her.

"Bat andito ka?" tanong niya.

"I'm here para bantayan ka." Sabi ko.

"You don't need to. May classes ka pa diba? You should go now." sabi niya.

"No I won't."

"Go now."

"No"

"Go"

Ilang minuto pa kaming nagtalo but in the end pumunta na din ako sa classroom.

Christalline's P.O.V

Natulog lang ako sa clinic then a few hours bago mag dismissal umalis na ako.
