JD asks his family how they would describe him

"Alright, I have a serious question for you all," JD asks his wife and two kids at dinner.
The two teens look scared, worried he had found out about their secret slushie trip sneaking out times.
"Ask away," Veronica says.
"How would you guys describe me?" He asks.
The three thought over the question very carefully.
"Um, probably a bad boy with a soft side," Troye says.
"I describe you as hot. Very hot," Veronica answers.
"Edgelord," AJ says, nodding her head as if she was lost in thought.
"Edgelord?" JD asks.
Veronica, Troye, and AJ are all laughing. JD looks at his family, and says, to himself, I love these idiots so much.
