i did call everyone i wanted to talk to. and i was a fool for even trying to choose. i realized i was just making excuses just to call her. am i pathetic? or just so into that person?
i wanted to hear her voice. i wanted to hear her laugh. i wanted to atleast feel like i'm with her.
"what's wrong, jeong-ssi?" she spoke after hearing enough silence over the line. i haven't been talking to the phone for minutes. i stayed silent, just listening to her voice.
"nothing much." my voice was almost like a hoarse whisper. thanks to that, she already knows something really has been bothering me.
"is that why you called me?" she asked after several seconds of silence.
i wanted to say no. she's never my go to person whenever i have problems. "i just want to hear your voice."
