there was silence then again. like we were both waiting for the other person to break it and say something.
whenever i'm being honest and straightforward about what i feel, there was always this kind of silence. and i don't hate it, suprisingly.
seconds later, to which felt like hours, she started singing, to what seemed like a japanese ballad.
i stayed still, focusing on every lyric, every tone, and her every breathing, wishing this moment would last a little longer until i fall asleep.
her voice was soft and low, like a slow lullaby in my ears. she sings just like my mother, there was almost tears in my eyes.
she stopped for about a minute and there was another silence.
"goodnight, oori jeongyeon-ie." i heard her speak, and it was the sweetest ever.
