i knew i had to turn back.
i turned around and went back in front of mina's door, knocking a few times lightly before meeting eyes with the most colorful ones i had ever longed for.
"hi." was all i could say. she was confused, yes. but she greeted me back with a question as to what i was doing there in the middle of the night.
i knew i had to say it, but i sadly said something else. "i-- i came for my phone." i stuttered, and she forced a smile after.
she didn't let me in, and she made me wait outside the door, handing me my phone after a brief moment. and just after a shared smile between us, the next thing i knew was mina shutting her door.
