i couldn't stay still knowing for a fact that i am actually making her wait in her cold, lonely room. i couldn't call her for being so stupid for not remembering every digit of her number. i tried calling my number but my phone was unreachable.
we had to stay in okinawa for three days. on our very first day here, i knew i had to go home right away. home. where i now know as my hotel room right under mina's in tokyo. home. where mina is near, where i could feel at ease, and alive.
how were you? i wanted to ask her so badly.
are you still tired?
are you mad at me for leaving you?
did you wait?
has your mom hurt you again?
i want to hear your voice.
i miss you already.
i'm so sorry, for making you feel alone.
those words were all heard only by the stars under the nights of okinawa. the words i so badly want to tell mina, but couldn't.
if i had the chance to talk to her tonight, what could her answers be?
