Chapter 5: The Warriors of Kyoshi

Author note: So it seems that due to the results of the last part, Naruto will first be with Yue, then be with Suki... no it's still not a harem fic... it's just... Avatar fans... we all know what happens to Yue so.... kinda had to figure out what to do about that. Anyway, due to both having been love interest for Sokka in canon, we'll eventually have to decide what to do with Sokka... but for now, it's time for the story to begin again.
Edit to note: So some later votes came in for Naruto/Katara and Naruto/On Ji... the reason those weren't chosen is because this chapter was more than half way written when the votes came in... Oops. Sorry. Anyway, regardless... all pairings seemed to have one vote a piece anyway and most of you said 'Which ever one is ok', so... gonna stick with the first ships voted for for the sake of me not having to rewrite everything.

"Sasuke, I already told Zuko... he didn't like the news.... and I'm sure you won't either" Iroh began. Sasuke stopped praticing his taijutsu and looked at Iroh.
"What news do you have?" Sasuke asked.
"We have no idea where the Avatar and Naruto Uzumaki is." Iroh answered. Sasuke growled.
"Damn it, Naruto! What is Zuko going to do about this?" Sasuke yelled.
"I do not know yet. But Zuko is getting desperate to find them too, especially now that we have Commander Zhao as competition." Iroh answered.
"To think... the Avatar might be a master of evasive maneuvers." Sasuke sighed, making Iroh feel deja vú since Zuko had said the same thing.

"Where the hell are we going?" Naruto asked impatiently.
"I don't know right now. And I'm sure Aang has no idea where we are going either." Sokka answered.
"Where ever we are going, I know it's near water." Aang pointed out as Appa continued to fly above endless ocean
"I guess we're getting close then." Sokka remarked sarcastically. Naruto stopped paying attention and grabbed his Toad Chakra Stone. Naruto started to concentrate on putting his chakra inside of it. Naruto needed a large amount of focus, similar to when he was in training to learn the Rasengan. Suddenly, Appa started to land and Naruto's focus broke. He then looked to see Sokka holding his pants, which was previously being sewed by Katara, but the pants still had a huge hole in it.
"Umm, what's with Sokka's pants?" Naruto asked.
"It's Sokka's fault due to his insensitivity towards women." Katara answered. Naruto looked more confused as Appa finally landed on an island.

"We just made a pit stop yesterday. Shouldn't we get a little more flying done before we camp out?" Sokka asked as the group landed and stepped foot on the island. Aang meanwhile was looking for something in the water.
"He's right. At this rate, we won't get to the North Pole until spring." Katara added. Naruto's eyes widened.
"WAIT WHAT?!?! HOW AM I SUPPOSED TO BECOME HOKAGE IF I CAN'T ASK THE PEOPLE OF THE NORTH IF THEY KNOW A WAY HOME?" Naruto yelled.
"We'll figure it out Naruto. Besides Appa's tired already. Aren't you boy?" Aang replied, having the last part refer to Appa himself. Appa stayed quiet, not even letting out a tired grunt.
"I said, 'aren't you boy?' " Aang repeated, elbowing Appa so he could get the hint. Appa faked a yawn.
"Yeah that was real convincing. Still, hard to argue with a ten ton magical monster." Sokka commented.
"So is he tired or not?" Naruto asked.
'Naruto.... not the sharpest tool in the shed...' Sokka thought. Aang ran towards the water and gasped, pointing out toward the water.
"Look." Aang said before a creature jumped out of the water. It was a giant fish. Sokka's mouth hung open upon seeing the sheer size of it.
"That's why we're here. Elephant koi. I'm going to ride it! Katara, you gotta watch me." Aang explained as he took off his Air Nomad robes and stayed in some short he wore under. Aang ran towards the water before diving in.
'This could be a good spot for some training. The Pervy Sage did say I need even more chakra control than I have now.' Naruto thought to himself as he smirked and used his hands to make a familiar t shape.
"Multi Shadow Clone Jutsu" 10 Narutos poofed into existence before running towards the water and using their chakra to stay above it.
"Ok clones... so here's what we will do! We will spar on this water, last Naruto standing will be the strongest Naruto!" Naruto explained to his clones. All the Narutos yelled out battle cries before the battle began, making Sokka's mouth hang open again.
"I never thought I'd see someone punching himself..... And I thought Aang was the weirdest one in the group.." Sokka told himself, now considering Naruto to be the biggest weirdo of the group. Suddenly growls were heard.
"No Appa, don't eat that!" Katara yelled out before running to go deal with Appa. Aang, who was riding the koi fish to get Katara's attention saw Katara's attention shift away from him.
"Aw man." Aang said in disappointment. Suddenly, Naruto heard Sokka yell, "THERE'S SOMETHING IN THE WATER!" Naruto turned to see a giant shadow following the elephant koi that Aang was riding and the two othet kois playing with Aang's koi. Aang was tossed off by the elephant koi before being caught by a clone of Narutos. A giant black sea creature turned it's attention to Aang. Aang yelled and ran back to shore. As the creature chased Aang, Naruto charged a Rasengan and jumped.
"Rasengan!" The Rasengan hit the creature and it fled from Aang, not wanting to suffer another attack as powerful as the one Naruto dealt to it.
'The kit held back the Rasengan's power. I'd have killed it for fun...' The Nine Tails whined to himself. Aang however was running so fast, he had yet to notice that Naruto saved him before he slammed into Sokka back on shore. Sokka slammed into a tree. Aang then got up and started to put on his Air Nomad robes again.
"What the hell was that thing?" Naruto asked as he returned to shore.
"I don't know." Aang replied.
"Well, let's not stick around to find out. Time to hit the road." Sokka said before Naruto quickly grabbed a kunai and tossed it up. A group then jumped from the trees behind Sokka and surrounded Naruto and friends.
"How did you know we were there?" one of the women that were hiding in the trees answered. Naruto smirked.
"My sensei once told me that a Ninja must see through deception... I could just feel it... that we were being watched." Naruto explained, remembering a similar occurance back in his first real mission to the Land of Waves. Naruto felt that someone was watching his team and Naruto threw his kunai in the direction he felt he was being watched ... it ended up hitting a snow rabbit, but Kakashi later explained to them that the rabbit was the wrong color for the season... that Naruto had rightfully targeted what was either Zabuza or Haku. Sometimes, trusting ones instinct was key to survive. Before the others could get ready to fight, the women had disable and tied up Aang, Katara, Sokka, and even Momo!
"I'm warning you now. Let my friends go!" Naruto ordered. The leader of the group glared at him.
"Or you'll do what? Tell the Fire Nation?" the leader challenged.
"You think we are with those jerks? Get real? Do we even look like we are from the Fire Nation?" Naruto asked.
"SHUT UP!" the leader yelled before the women surrounded Naruto.
"Shadow Clone Jutsu!" Naruto yelled before the group of female attackers found themselves surrounded by Narutos.
"Naruto, don't hurt them!" Aang pleaded. The people of the island ran towards the commotion.
"Men and women of this island... these four have some explaining to do!" the chief of the island boomed. Naruto growled.
"Surrender now or we'll throw your friends in the water with the Unagi!" the leader of the female attackers said.
"Show yourselves cowards!" Sokka yelled as he was on the ground. Naruto smirked before more Naruto clones burst from the ground, holding the female attackers from behind... holding kunai to their necks.
"No one move. Release my friends now!" Naruto yelled, not liking the fact that he was holding anyone hostage. One of the female warriors tried to kick behind her to hit Naruto Clone's man part, but the Naruto clone stepped away just in time.
"Look, I'm sorry! I just wanted to ride the elephant koi!" Aang explained.
"How do we know you are not Fire Nation spies? Kyoshi has stayed out of the war so far, and we intend to keep it that way!" the village chief asked.
"Wait... this island was named for Kyoshi? Naruto, if you have enough clones, can you take off our blindfolds. This might be important!" Aang requested. Some of Naruto's clones no longer occupied with the female attackers took the blindfolds off Aang and friends and Aang smiled at the people, who glared at him.
"Listen, I know this may sound weird, but I know Kyoshi!" Aang told the people. The chief scoffed.
"How could you possibly know her? Avatar Kyoshi was born here 400 years ago. She's been dead for centuries." The cheif informed them.
"Yeah Aang, how would you know your past life? Oh... wait never mind... forget I asked." Naruto said before realizing what he had said. Sokka groaned a bit from Naruto's stupidity.
"Past life. Are you claiming that this boy is the Avatar?" the chief asked.
"That's impossible! The last Avatar was an airbender who disappeared a hundred years ago!" the leader of the female attack group pointed out as she tried to get out of Naruto's hold, but couldn't find a way out.
"That's me!" Aang said.
"People of Kyoshi, we must throw the imposter to the Unagi and save our Kyoshi Warriors from the boy in orange!" the cheif declared. But suddenly everyone froze in fear as Naruto's eyes changed from blue to red. Naruto was glaring at them with a bit of the Nine Tails chakra.
