Foundation Day cont'd.

Nancy's POV

Everyone's cheering after our dance number

Now it's time for us to sing and I'm still too nervous

"C'mon Nancy. We'll be with you" said JooE encouraging me

"It's a lovely song. I'm sure the crowd will like it" seconded Daisy

"And we'll be singing with you" said Ahin

I love how my friends support me

"Where are the girls?" said the emcee

"Let's go out! They're waiting for us" said JooE as she pulled me from the backstage

The howls became louder

"Alright! here they are. Let's give a warm round of applause for JooE, Daisy, Ahin and Nancy!"

As we went on stage, JooE signaled the crowd to be quiet

I saw Yeonwoo and Taeha walking out of the auditorium

That hurts my eyes.. and my heart

Doesn't she want to see me perform?

I don't want to see them so I closed my eyes and focused on our performance

It's too quiet and that made me feel like no one's watching

I took a deep breath and started to sing

My eyes widened

I know that voice

I pulled my hand away from Taeha's grip, turned around and there stands Nancy

She's singing with her eyes closed

It's such an angelic voice

The voice I've been looking for

The right one

God! What have I done?

Tears start to fall from my eyes

I looked at Taeha not to confront her, but to check if she's ok

I can't get mad at her

She's been good to me

And this is all my fault

She's crying

"I'm sorry" she muttered

I just smiled at her and said "It's ok.. I'm sorry too, Taeha"

I turned my attention back to the angel singing on stage

Daisy, JooE and Ahin are there standing
