XV - Past Meets Present

JooE's POV

It's been a week since Nancy and Yeonwoo unnie broke up

Nancy appears to be so cheerful in front of everyone

People may think she's ok now

But I still hear her sobs every night

I understand how hard it must be for her

"Ya, JooE" Nancy called out

"Uh- what is it?"

"You're spacing out again. I said I'll go somewhere"

"I-I'll go with you, Nancy"

"Thanks, JooE. But I think I need to go out alone"

"Oh, okay, sure. Just send me a message or call me in case you need company"

"Thanks, JooE" she gave me her sweetest smile as she headed out

I hope she can move on soon

Nancy's POV

Going out and getting some fresh air might help

Whenever I'm at school or even at our dorm, I couldn't help but think of Dabin

She hasn't shown up since that day

"Pabo" I let out a sigh thinking she might have gone looking for Seung Ri

Stop it, Nancy! You're here to start forgetting about her

I stood up from the grass, watched the lake, closed my eyes and took a deep breath

It's so peaceful

"Why are you crying?" I've heard a familiar voice

I turned around and saw Jungkook

"Jungkook. I- I wasn't crying" I said as a tear fell from my eye

I didn't notice my eyes was starting to well up

Dabin still crosses my mind

Jungkook wiped the tear from my cheek

I felt my knees weaken

I slumped down and cried hard

Jungkook hugged me "I'm just here, Nancy. You can cry all you want until the pain goes away"

Yeonwoo was walking at the same park. She walked away upon seeing Jungkook hugging Nancy

He handed me his handkerchief and let me use it

Suddenly my surroundings went black

JooE's POV

It's almost six. Nancy hasn't came back yet

I kept walking around outside our room waiting for her

Daisy and Ahin arrived with their shopping bags

"Ya, JooE. What are you doing?" asked Ahin

"Nancy went out"

"What?! Where did she go? Why did you let her go alone?" said Daisy looking so worried

"I told her I'll go with her, but she said she wants to go alone. I even told her to send me a message or call me, but she hasn't"

"Did you try to call her?" Ahin took her phone out and dialed Nancy's number

"No, I didn't"

"Hi! This is Nancy. Please leave me a message and I'll get back to you as soon as I can. Have a great day"
