XXXII - Is This How We'll End?

Yeonwoo's POV

"Are you sure you'll be fine here?" Kim Jisoo has been asking me the same question since I've arrived at their place

I went to the Kims' rest house and asked if I could stay for a few days

"I will be" I answered

"Are you sure?" she asked again

"Eleven. That's how many times you've asked her that question" said Jennie as she sat on the couch next to Jisoo

"I'm just making sure, jagi. I don't want to wake up and find a dead body next morning" Jisoo chuckled

"Don't worry, I'm not going to kill anyone" I smiled at the couple

"I'm talking about you, kid"

I chuckled "Oh. Well, I'm maybe heart broken but I'm not gonna kill myself"

"Good. Cos I'm gonna kill you if you would" she said as she bites her apple

"Nah. I don't want to be dead twice"

Jennie laughed "You two really didn't grow up. You still talk the same way as when we were in highschool"

"Look who's talking" Jisoo looked at me and I know exactly what she's trying to say

"As if she grew up" Jisoo and I said in unison as we laughed

Jennie glared at us "Stop attacking my height. You're not even that tall, Kim Jisoo. I'm still slightly taller than you"

"But I'm older than you"

"What does that even have to do with our height?"

"Nothing. I'm just saying" Jisoo giggled

She never really liked losing an argument, even on small things

Height... Yeah, that reminds me of Nancy

She is small and just perfectly fits in my arms

I sighed

It must have been too loud that the couple looked at me

"Are you sure you're okay?" asked Jisoo

"Not again" said Jennie who's covering her ears

"I'm just trying to distract her. But on a serious note, you can talk to us whenever you want. We're always ready to listen. Don't keep it to yourself. That's not a good practice"

Jisoo can be so funny, but when she talks seriously, you can really feel her sincerity

"Thank you, guys. We sure can talk about it once I'm ready"

"Take your time. You can stay here for as long as you want" offered Jennie

"Yeah. Just ignore the noises we make in case you hear any" said Jisoo

"Oh my God, Kim Jisoo!" Jennie slapped Jisoo's shoulder

"What?" the latter just played innocent "I mean we make noise when we're cooking or when we're playing games. What were you even thinking?"

"Nothing!" said Jennie as she smacked Jisoo with a pillow

Seeing these two tease each other makes me miss her more

The couple had to leave after a couple of hours to attend a fashion show

Before leaving, they made sure I have everything I might need

Food, water, and phone

Jennie let me use her old phone, just so I could contact them if I need to
