XVI - Revelation

Yeonwoo's POV

"Yah! Dabin! Are you talking to Nancy? Let us in"

Hyebin kept banging on my door the whole time I was talking to Seung Ri

At the abandoned warehouse along Naesu street

That's what Seung Ri texted me after she hung up the phone

And don't you dare call the police or have someone accompany you.. or your girlfriend will be dead

Come here all by yourself

I quickly put my sweatshirt on and wore my sneakers

I opened the door and there stood Hyebin, JooE, Ahin and Daisy

"What's wrong with you, unnie? Nancy has been missing since this morning" said JooE looking so mad at me

Everyone started telling me their worries

"What if something bad happened to her?" said Daisy

"What if she got lost?" seconded Ahin

"What if she got bitten by a bunch of mosquitoes?" said JooE

Where did that come from?

Everyone looked at JooE

"Y-you know, her precious skin. I- I just don't want it to be ruined" she explained

"Stay here. I'll look for her"

"I'll go with you" offered Hyebin

"We'll go too" said the three kids

"No. I'll go alone. And I promise to bring her back"

"Ok. Just let us know in case you need help" answered Hyebin who looks like she already knows what I'm up to

I just nodded and went my way

I quickly got off the bike and just let it fall on the ground as I arrived at the place

It was too dark, so I searched for something to light up my way

My phone

Shoot! I left it in my room

Then I've heard footsteps coming from behind

Someone hit me on the nape that I got knocked out

I've regained my consciousness with a pair of lips touching mine

Anger started to build up when I realized who's kissing me

I pulled away and spit out

"Oh, Dabin.. Is that how you greet your one true love now?" Seung Ri caressed my face

"Stop playing around, Seung Ri! Where's Nancy?!"

"The princess? Well, there she is" she said turning her head behind her

Two guys came out of the dark side of the room, holding Nancy on both hands

I looked at Nancy and she looks so exhausted

I'm pretty sure she has struggled so much before I arrived

"Nancy!" I yelled

She angrily looked at me "Dabin! You idiot! I told you not to be here! You shouldn't be here!" she cried out

A tear fell from my eye

This girl is already in danger but she still worry about my safety

"I'm sorry, Jagiya"
