Chptr. 22: Goodbye

WARNING: A LITTLE LONGER CHAPTER AHEAD (This is 3447 words but it's worth reading I promise!! I usually write just around 2500 words though) Next warning would be an amazing warning but you have to wait! If ya' know what I mean ;)

3rd Person's POV

The party was now over. Everyone was in their own room at this time of the night. 

Hoseok keeps on insisting to keep on with the party until midnight but Jin keeps on declining it. For Hoseok, it was to spend more time with Jimin since the younger should be at the airport by 1:00 and needs to leave at midnight to not be late. Jin, on the other hand, doesn't want to risk Jimin being late at his flight that's why he keeps on refusing Hoseok's endless whines.

They had fun the whole night and had a lot of fun things to talk about, almost forgetting that Jimin's departure would be next at that happy moment they shared.

"I don't want to say this since it's gonna sound cheesy but...Thank you hyung, this is the best birthday of my life so far." Jungkook told whilst he lay on his bed with a bright smile and soon shut his eyes to appreciate every memory he had today.

Hoseok removed his coat whilst he also sat on his bed, looking at Jungkook. 

"You've been thanking us a lot since earlier. I'm not used to it but...you're welcome. We're glad you are happy." He smiled at the younger even though he knows that Jungkook wouldn't see it since the latter was still busy indulging every single happy thought he had today.

Hoseok was really happy as well but he can't keep the fact that today would also be a sad day for everyone except Jungkook, well...since it would only begin to be depressing for the next day when Jungkook finally reads Jimin's letter.

Hoseok was debating it in his mind. For him, Jimin should have told Jungkook as early as possible whilst he was still here. But Jimin wouldn't want that and want it in his own way, that is, to let Jungkook know tomorrow not to ruin Jungkook's happy memories on his birthday.

Hoseok sighed as he remembered. Taehyung and Yoongi want to see Jimin leave too so they could officially say their goodbyes but Jin and Namjoon tell them not to. This was to avoid Jungkook's suspicion.

"I'll just take a bath Jungkook. Jin-hyung keeps on putting the icing on my face earlier and it still feels sticky, I also had a lot of sweat from all the dancing we did earlier. Wanna go first?" Hoseok stood up from his bed.

"Nah, I'll just take a bath after you." Jungkook opened his eyes as Hoseok head for the bathroom to go take a shower. 

Jungkook was now looking at the ceiling, can't keep his smiling to himself. It's like he had the most wonderful birthday present he could only just wish before but finally gets it. His thoughts suddenly flew into Jimin. He had his eyes glued on the older earlier and you can't blame him. He was feeling weird ever since they started dancing on the street that night. It was like a wake-up call for Jungkook wherein he finally realized a lot of things. Things about how he really felt about Jimin.

He smirked just by the thought of the blonde-haired boy who always had a bright smile on his face even though he was always sassy at times. 

Jungkook shut his eyes again and filled his thoughts with just Jimin on his head. "I also want to make his birthday very special just like what he did to my birthday...I want to see him crying from happiness."

Jungkook curled up in a ball and get his pillows as he hugged it. He was cringing just by thinking about making a surprise birthday party for Jimin, but in a good way.
