Ek Baar Aur?

'Ruk jaao Zoya' said the voice which held her hand. Zoya exclaimed 'Abbu, aap yahan?'
Waseem Siddiquie nodded with tears in his eyes and right then came Roshnaq Siddiquie from behind and engulfed Zoya in a bone crushing hug. Zoya said in a choked voice 'Aap log yahan? Aapko kaise pata chala hum yahan honge? Aap....' Her father silenced her with a hug and with a deep breath said 'Zoya aaj humein bolne de beta. Humein maaf kar dijiye Zoya. Humse galti ho gyi ki humne kabhi aapko ya aapke sapnon ko samjha nhi. Hum toh humari izzat ko hi dekhte rahe aur kabhi aapke aansoonyon se khud ko wakif hi nhi kar paaye. Maa, baap ka toh farz hota hai unke baachon ke sapnon mein udaan de lekin humne toh aapko udne se hi rok liya. Kaash Zoya hum ek baar aapko phone karke ghar bula lete, toh na aap mar mar ke jeeti na hum. Itne saal humein bas aap hi ke khyaal aaye lekin kabhi himmat hi nhi hui ki aapse mile aur aapko ek baar gale se laga le. Itni paas thi aap humare lekin fir bhi itni dooriyaan bana li humne. Na kabhi aapke saath aapki kaamyaabi baanti na kabhi aapke bure wakt mein aapka sar sehlaya. Humein maaf kar dijiye.'
He broke down and Zoya didn't stop her tears which were flowing continuously and just kissed her parents and wrapped them in a bear hug and while hiccuping and coughing said 'Abbu,.. Ammi.. humne aapko bohot miss kiya. I love you..'
The Siddiquie family sat together crying and caressing each other's faces. After few moments Zoya said 'Lekin aap bataaye toh sahi ki aapko yahan kisne bola aane ko.'
Waseem wiped his face and said 'Aditya Hooda kehkar ek shaks the jo kal raat humare ghar achanak aa gye. Unhone hi humein samjhaya ki hum kitne galat hai aur kaise aap humein roz yaad karti hai. Voh aaj humein aapse milwane wale the lekin phir unka phone aaya aur unhone kaha ki aap airport pe hai aur agar aaj aapko yahan nhi roka toh aapko humesha ke liye kho denge, voh bhi aur hum bhi.'
Zoya murmured 'Aditya ne yeh sab kiya..'
'Haan , maine kiya.' came a voice from behind that Zoya both loved and hated. Aditya came and went down on one knee and made Zoya stand up and said 'Zoya , main maanta hoon maine tumhare saath bohot galat kiya. Maine tumhara dil toda aur tumhe bhi. Lekin main bhi majboor tha. Mera bhai mereko chod ke humesha ke liye chala gya aur usne kaha uski jaane ki wajah tum thi. Mujhe kuch samajh nhi aaya sivaay is baat ke ki Zoya Siddiquie ne mere bhaai ko cheen liya mujhse. Mere is nafrat mein mujhe sab jayaz laga. Lekin yeh bhi sach hai ki main tumse pyaar kar baitha aur phir bhi tumhe dhoka dene se khud ko roka bhi nhi. Mujhe maaf kar do Zoya. Galti toh sab karte hai na lekin mujhe us galti ka ehsaas bhi hua hai. Please Zoya ek baar phir meri dost ban jaao.Iske baad bhi agar main tumhe shikayat ka mauka deta hoon toh tum mujhe chod dena. Main tumhe tab rokoonga nhi. Lekin ek baar aur mujhe mauka de do.'

Zoya looked at him and her father said 'Zoya , aapne humein bhi toh ek mauka diya toh inhe bhi de dijiye.'
Zoya said 'Lekin aapki job Aditya?'
Aditya said 'Mujhe Mumbai ke sabse bade publishing house mein bhi naukri mil gyi hai Zoya aaj. Main vahan kaam kar loonga.'
Zoya said 'Lekin voh job toh aapka sapna tha na?'
Aditya said 'Tumhare bina mujhe koi sapna manzoor nhi hai.'
Zoya sighed and said 'Theek hai hum aapko ek aur mauka denge lekin sirf dost ban ne ka.'
Aditya got up and said 'Main is baar niraash nhi karoonga tumhe.'
The entire group went back from the airport and Zoya's parents shifted to her house. Days passed and Aditya got to work to make Zoya trust him and love him like before. He took small steps and didn't overdo things. He was subtle with his approach and gave Zoya the time she needed. He showered her with love but not in an amount that would seem unnatural as a friend. He took care of her when she was sick and helped her with her dreams of hosting a talk show in New York.
Things were falling in place and slowly Zoya was letting her shield between her and Aditya go. She soon started with her coffee again and Aditya took it as his first success. He worked long hours in his office but still found time to have midnight chats with Zoya
2 Years Later.
Two years passed and Aditya realised that Zoya was her normal self again. He decided something. One night he blind folded Zoya and bought her to a garden. When she opened her eyes it fell on a wooden hand carved altar. The pillars of the altar were decorated with roses and doves all of which were also hand carved. Adorning it were millions of fairy lights.She gasped and said 'Yeh aapne banaya hai?'
Aditya nodded and said 'Lights ke alawa sab Janab Aditya Hooda ki karigiri hai.'
He beckoned her forward and when she stood in the middle of the altar she was showered with rose petals.
Aditya went down on his knees yet again and said 'Zoya Siddiquie, aaj kuch special nhi hai lekin tumhare saath har din special hota hai. Tumhe din mein ek baar bhi dekh loon toh lagta hai ki mere saath kuch bura nhi ho sakta. Tumhe hasta hua dekh mujhe ek alag si khushi hoti hai. Ek aisi khushi jo meri zindagi mein pehle kabhi nhi thi. Tumhare aansoon ko dekh main khud ko jalta hua mehsoos karta hoon. Tum mere dil ka voh ehsaas ho jise main apni poori zindagi mehsoos karna chahta hoon. Tumhare saath bitaye hua har lamhe mein main sadiyaan jee leta hoon. Aankhein band karta hoon toh tumhe dekhta hoon aur aankhein kholta hoon toh tumhe dhoondhta hoon. Tum meri khamoshi mein bhi ho aur mere dil ke shor mein bhi. Tum mera sukoon bhi ho aur meri hulchul bhi. Tum meri ibaadat ho aur meri bepannah aur beyhadh mohabbat bhi. Mujhe apne aane wala har mausam, har din , har pal tumahare saath bitana hai. Kya tum mujhse shadi karogi Zoya? Will you marry me?'
Zoya stood motionless for some time and said 'Aditya Hooda aap humari jaan hai. Laakhon dilon ke saansein rokne wali Zoya Siddiquie ki saansein sirf aap rok sakte hai. Aap mera wajood hai, aap meri jeene ki wajah hai. Aapko agar hum kho denge toh hum khud ko kho denge. Aaj humari ibaadat bhi humse rubaroon ho gyi. Hum aapse bohot mohabbat karte hai Aditya aur humara yeh vaada hai ki jab tak saansein chalengi, voh aapke liye hogi , jab tak dil dhadkega , dhadkan aapki hogi. Jab tak Zoya Siddiquie is duniya mein rahegi sirf aapki hogi. Humein aapka shaadi nama quobool hai.'

Aditya placed a ring on her finger and hugged her. The stars and the moonlight added to the scenic beauty. After some moments of bliss Aditya suddenly said 'Voh last line , beyhadh ka dialogue tha na.'

Zoya hit him and said 'Humne thoda modify kara tha. Ab hum aapki tarah line pe line nhi bol sakte toh humein dialogues hi bolne padte hai.'
Aditya laughed seeing him Zoya started laughing too. Happiness filled the air as two people who had parted ways had found each other again with a love that was stronger than ever before.
