[Song: Let Her Go by Passenger]

It felt good but it also felt like something was missing. It didn't feel like I had always imagined.

Harry pulls away, his hands slowly dropping from my face. My eyes wander around as I try to figure out what happened and how I felt about it.

"How was that?" He asks, kind of rhetorically, "not the same thing, right?"

I look up at him, shaking my head. "No," I say softly.

"You might have loved me but you love him," Harry states. "I can see it. When you look at him. You never looked at me like that."

Not in front of you, I thought. But he might have a point. Harry had always been the one, but now...

"Harry, what do I do?" Tears started to form. I rest the top of my head on his chest. His hands rub up and down my arms. "I've fallen for someone who doesn't love me back. He makes me feel so special and then he's off with another girl. I want to trust him, I really do, but I can't."

My tears leave water stains on Harry's shirt.

"I've seen the way he looks at you, too. He cares so much for you. I don't know why he's being a complete div," Harry says. He pulls me into an actual hug. His hands go from rubbing my back to messing with my hair.

"It's a shame," he whispers, "We're perfect for each other." I knew what he meant.

It didn't matter what I had felt about Harry. My heart belonged to Harrison.

Notes:

Short chapter but a lot resolved.

I'm thinking of 3-4 more chapters.

And then maybe a sequel?

Thanks for reading💞
