This would've been up earlier but I get distracted easily..

Luke

I wake the next morning with a giddy feeling, a hop in my step as I get ready for school. I feel wonderful, my heart fluttering as I prance around with my new title of 'Ashton Irwin's Boyfriend', it has a nice ring to it, don't you think? I walk to school, avoiding my father as much as I could in the kitchen and rushing out with half a banana. The walk goes by quickly and I walk in school, still earning some odd looks from people as I make my way to my first class.
I'm greeted with a kiss and a chirpy hello from my boyfriend, sigh, I'm never going to used to that. I sit down as the teacher begins talking. A few minutes later a girl comes in like a whirlwind, a complete mess, struggling to keep her books in her hands.

"Why're you late?" the teacher frowns.

"I'm new, my name's Jo." she says and the teacher nods, waving her off in my direction saying something about an open seat, and there is one on the other side of me. She gets to her seat and looks relieved to have somewhere to put her things down.

"Hey." I smile once she gets settled.

"I'm not interested." she quickly snaps, tucking a piece of her hair behind her ear and looking down at her paper.

"Well that's good cause I'm gay." my smile drops and she still doesn't look up.

"Never had a gay guy hit on me before." Her eyebrow twitches slightly and I scoff and roll my eyes.

I turn back to the front of the class until the painful lesson was over. In my second class we get another new student which happens to be Michael who says he got transferred for getting in too many fights and Calum also decides to show up at lunch. He claims he dropped out so he's just going to be joining the three of us for lunch if he doesn't get caught. We happened to also stumble upon a very heated argument on why the hell he shouldn't have dropped out of school in the first place.

The school day is rather boring and I head home after a heated yet playful argument with Ashton, over how he didn't need to walk me home. Honestly, I didn't want him to walk me home, the more the amount of times my father sees Ashton decreasing, the happier that man will be.

"Hey, Lukey, babe." Someone says, throwing their arm around my shoulders.

"Hey Calum." I suppress from rolling my eyes.

"There's a party tonight and we should go. Invite Ashton, invite your mom, whatever, just be there." he says with a smile "actually, don't invite your mom, you probably shouldn't even tell her." he says and I laugh a little.

"Okay, sure."

"Great! see you there!"
