<YOONGI POV>

"Hi" 

My voice was scratchy, and it felt like someone was slowly running a blade up and down the inside of my throat, slowly making the cut deeper and deeper. I couldn't speak very loud but I really hope he heard me.

No hearing a response, I tried again. 

"H-hey I'm here!" my voice cracked and I heard footsteps come towards me, echoing little footsteps drawing closer, begging me to go towards them.

"Oh. Wow, uh hey?" 

He sounded unsure of his choice of words but continued on soon after speaking.

"As I said before, we haven't done introductions. So pretty little flower, do you have a name?"

My face heated up as he said 'pretty little flower' but the image of Taehyung shone in my head and I blinked the rising heat away.

"Uhm. Yeah, I do, it's Yoongi. Min Yoongi"

My voice was still very quiet but I assumed he could hear me because of the little grunt I heard after I revealed my name to him.

"Cute. I'm Jeongguk, Jeon Jeongguk. Don't ask my parents made that decision."

A soft laugh left my mouth, soon regretting it afterward my throat burning again.

I started coughing violently, hacking and seeing a bit of red in my vision. Not sure what was happening, I got scared.

I started to cry.

'No, don't cry, not in front of someone you barely know.'

I couldn't stop my tears, it was all so overwhelming.

"Yoongi? Hey, why are you crying? What's wrong?" 

He sounded concerned, but I couldn't answer.

Everything hurt.

Nevertheless, I still tried to answer wanting to vent.

"Jeongguk, I...I don't know what's going on!! I'm human, I'm not a plant and I don't know why you keep saying I'm a plant! I just know that I'm stuck in some weird, dark place and I'm scared. I'm so so scared. Please, save me." 

My sobs and whines cut off my words. 

"Wow, Yoongi what? What do you mean you're human? Then why do I see a plant?"

"Are-Are you inside the rose?"

He kept asking me questing but I couldn't answer, all I could do was give him an answer in mumbled noises.

"Nuh-uh. I dunno"

I continued to cry, feeling myself slip deeper and deeper.

Then I heard it.

A loud ripping sound.

My ears rang, it's like someone was tearing the universe's realities in half, the universe screaming in pain.

I screamed.

"Jeongguk! What is that noise? I'm scared! Please help me!"

I drew my knees into my chest, shaking violently and feeling myself slip more and more.

I blacked out soon after, the cold of my familiar entrapment slowly fading away.

I was enveloped in warmth, it felt familiar. It felt like I was nestled into the arms of a lover. I let myself fall, and I blossomed.
