When writing foreign language, please do not put the translation at the bottom of the chapter. I need to know what is said now, not when I've gotten to the bottom and have already forgotten the rest of the conversation. I also am definitely not scrolling to the bottom only to scroll back up.

Just write it in parenthesis inside the quotes. I don't care if that is not the proper way to write because in an actual book when you write the translations, you would put them at the bottom of the page. That does not work on Wattpad when a whole chapter is just one continuous page you scroll.

Or you can just tell people in the introductory chapter, hey, any dialogue in italics is in French, or whatever language it is. And this way, you don't have to worry about mistranslating.

"Voulez-vous coucher avec moi? (Do you want to sleep with me?)"

or

"Do you want to sleep with me?"
