33. You Are Strange, Cyryn Johnson

"It would be..." I trail off and Christina stares at me

I sigh and tap my fingers

"I know what you're thinking and no, you can't say nobody."

"But it's true"

"Now Cyryn, I saw the way you looked at Jonah. And Corbyn told me about your past with Jonah. But believe me when I say this, you do stupid things when you're in love."

Haven't I heard that before?

"Fine. He isn't that bad. But I don't know if I'd date him."

"Yet."

"What?"

"You haven't realized it yet"

"Are you serious?"

"Yes. Very. You like him. He likes you. You two are obviously going to date sooner or later."

We laugh and then begin to get ready for the party.

A few hours later the boys show up in Corbyn's car.

They both walk to the door and Jonah knocks. (What they're wearing is at the top.)

Christina opened the door and smiled, she then looked Corbyn up and down and turned back to me.

"I don't think they understood me when I told them to dress nice..."

I just laughed at her and shook my head, "they're boys. What'd you expect"

I looked at both of them and they acted hurt but then busted out laughing with me.

Christina was confused for a while but then she understood

Corbyn grabbed her hand and walked to the car

Jonah then grabbed mine and walked with me to the car

Then I started thinking about what Christina said

"You two are obviously going date sooner or later."

Maybe she was right

Besides, I wouldn't mind dating him

He opened the door for me and I quickly climbed in. He walked around and got in on the other side.

Corbyn and Christina were in the front while Jonah and I were in the back.

We jammed out the whole way to the store. When we got there we sent the boys in to get he food and drinks.

"So...maybe you were right..." I told Christina

"I knew it!!' She exclaimed

"Calm down jeez"

"Sorry, just to let you know I ship you two but if he hurts you I swear I will cut hi-"

"Okay okay I get it. I'm sure he will too" I laughed at her and she smiled

"I can't believe he treated you like he did. Actually I can't believe why he did it..."

"Wait, you know why he did it?"

"Yeah..."

"Can you tell me?"

"Oh look the boys are coming back. I'll tell you later"

The boys got back into the car.

"So what'd you two talk about while we were gone?" Corbyn asked

I was about to answer but Christina beat me to it, "oh you know, what we're going to do after the party. I'm sleeping over at hers."

"Oh okay, but don't steal my best friend" Corbyn said and looked to me. "And you don't steal my girlfriend"

"Aw but I wuv her" I whined in a baby voice that caused Jonah to giggle.

"You guys can have fun but not too much fun" Corbyn said glancing between me and Christina.

"No offense Chris but I like dick" I told her laughing

"Yeah same" she laughed

Out of the corner of my eye I saw Jonah smile but he was blushing and looking forward

Corbyn just nodded and said a quiet 'okay' before beginning to drive again.

The ride was full of laughter and smiles

When we got to the party Corbyn and Christina took the groceries in while me and Jonah took a few minutes before going in.

"What's wrong?" He said looking at me

"Oh nothing. It's just this is my first party so I don't really know what to expect." I told him and looked down

"You wanna go back home?"

"What?! No way!" I looked up at him

"See. You're ready" he smiled

"How did that prove I was ready?"

"Because you're strong and independent and that makes it harder for some random guy to get you in bed" he looked deeper into my eyes

"I think only one person would be able to persuade me to not be so strong and independent" I laughed at his face expression. He looked so shocked that I said that. I couldn't help but laugh "What?"

"You- you're supposed to be the innocent one" he scolded

"I am the innocent one. But that doesn't mean I don't know sexual jokes"

He opened his mouth to say something only to shut it again and smile

"Let's go"

We walked into the party and I was overwhelmed
