When we collide

Chapter 18

-Janet-

Me and Veronica haven't had sex in 3 months I'm starting to get very sexually frustrated, which I mean she doesn't want me to get what she has which is nice of her and all but why not try just once? The phone started to ring

"Hello?"

"Hey Veronica!"

"Um this isn't veronica" I said

"Oh I'm sorry dear. Who is this then?"

"Um Janet, Janet jackson"

"Oh you must be with Veronica. Could I talk to her?"

"Oh um sure hold on" I walked to where veronica is and I put my hand on the receiving end of the phone

"Hey someone wants to talk to you. I don't know if you feel up to it or?"

"No it's fine" She said

I handed her the phone

-Veronica-

"Hello?" I asked all groggy

"Hey V it's me Freddy"

I looker at the calender Freddie' s birthday...Shit! I thought to myself

"Oh god I'm so sorry I tottaly forgot it's your birthday today"

"It's alright love. You've been busy"

"So why'd you call?"

"I um actually wanted to tell you something"

"What's that?" I asked

"I have Aids"

"Oh Freddy. I actually waa going to tell you that to but I didn't really want to tell you over the phone"

He sighed "I guess We're both dying"

"Don't say that Fred"

"But it's true"

"I know it is. But you have to stay positive and not stay all blue every day thinking about that. You still have to live your life as normal as if you didn't have it"

"Yeah your right" he sighed

"I'm getting a little tired. So I'm gonna go"

"Ok. Goodbye then"

"Bye" I said and hung up the phone

Janet walked back in

"We're you just eavesdropping on our convorsation?"

"No. Who was that?" she said

"Oh it was Freddy. Turns out he has Aids to" I said sadly.

"Oh god."

"I laid back down and sighed "Janet I'm...loosing this fight to stay alive" I said

"No your not! Don't say that" she said

"No it's true! Every single day it feels like my body is getting weaker and weaker. The pain is getting worse. I'm in so much pain janet" I started to cry

" I can call the doctor and ask if he can prescribe a stronger pain medicine but it not as addictive"

"I'll try it"

"Ok" she smiled at me and left the room
