Droplets From Heaven

I shifted my bag
From the left shoulder to the right
I walked closer to the edge of the lane
And felt raindrops on my cheeks
Tickling and drenching my face

Little raindrops fell
Forming small puddles
I stepped on to some
And jumped across others
Danced with the rain
And let it seep into my heart

As I stretched my hand out
Reaching out to the rain
It gave me a little handshake
And drew a smile
On my wretched, sunken face

I let the rain
Seep into my soul
It transformed into sunshine
Lighting up my heart
With ambience, peace

I let the rainSeep into my soulIt transformed into sunshineLighting up my heartWith ambience, peace
