UGH SHES SO GORGEOUS DLSKFJA;S

"Hey, you. How'd it go?" Shawn asked right away as I walked through the door to my apartment.
"Great, actually." I responded, beaming. Shawn stood up from his seat on the couch, waddling goofily across the carpet to get to me.
"I told you." He said, smiling adorably. My heart swelled as he gave me a bear hug. I didn't know what had gotten into him, but I giggled as he swayed us side to side. My arms were jumbled up and pressed against his chest, but I didn't mind the uncomfortable position. I smiled and tucked my face in his neck.
"You need to tell me all about it." Shawn mumbled happily. I hummed in response.
"Of course." I said. We both shut up, embracing each other as we rocked back and forth.
"Hey! Where's my hug?!" I heard Lily yell. I laughed quietly and gently pushed Shawn off of me. He quickly got the message, releasing me from his grip and backing out of the way so I could see everyone.
I practically sprinted over to my best friend, her expression giddy. I attempted to tackle her (spoiler: it didn't work) and she giggled like crazy, taking me into her arms.

Eventually, Shawn and I ended up in my room together again, staring up at the ceiling as we were lying down on the bed next to each other.
"Can we sing?" Shawn asked after a moment of silence. I turned my head to admire his side profile. His perfect eyes, his cute little nose, his kissable lips, that one strand it hair that always fell over his face. I could go on forever about every single feature that he had and how gorgeous it was.
It was strange, knowing now what Andrew had told me, presumably on accident.
Shawn, poor kid, spends hours on end in the bathroom sobbing until someone drags him out. It was hard to not remember that when I looked at him now, but it was also difficult applying that quality to someone like him. I guess something has to balance out all those positives about him, though.
I nodded at the offer to sing a song, and Shawn smiled widely. Due to my good mood, I decided to sing an upbeat song.
"She played the fiddle in an Irish band" I started. Shawn laughed before continuing with me.
"But she fell in love with an English man
Kissed her on the neck and then I took her by the hand
Said, 'Baby, I just wanna dance'" We sang in sync. I smiled and closed my eyes."I meet her on Grafton street right outside of the bar
She shared a cigarette with me while her brother played the guitar
She asked me, "What does it mean, the Gaelic ink on your arm?"
Said, "It was one of my friend's songs, do you want to drink on?""As we went on, I heard Shawn getting a little wobbly with the tune, indicating that he was unsure of the correct lyrics.
"She took Jamie as a chaser, Jack for the fun
She got Arthur on the table with Johnny riding as a shotgun"Shawn started humming the melody as I laughed, still singing.
"Chatted some more, one more drink at the bar
Then put Van on the jukebox, got up to dance"He had gotten back on track for the chorus, his tone sounding prideful. I smiled widely and kept going. We sang through the rest of the chorus, the next verse and chorus, and the bridge-verse thing, Shawn dropping out to hum a few times when he couldn't keep up with the lyrics.
