"I guess that's a yes." Shawn mumbled, looking around the room before landing his gaze on me. He gave me a smirk with raised eyebrows, as if challenging me.
I stood up, pressing my hands against the soft carpet to get myself off of the ground. I charged at the beanbag that Shawn was resting on, jumping before I could come into contact with it. Shawn quickly turned his head and raised his hands up to his chest as soon as he figured out what I was doing.
I fell on top of him, which surprisingly hurt more than falling onto the floor. His body could've been stone and I wouldn't of felt any difference. He barely had any reaction, didn't make a sound. He only twitched a tiny bit.
"Goddamn, your so hard." I commented, realizing directly after I spoke that I should of phrased it much differently. I covered my mouth with my hand as Shawn threw his head back in laughter. I heard other people join in as I buried my head in Shawns chest in shame. He looped one arm loosely around my torso, pulling me a little farther into him.
"That's not what I meant!" I cried out. I couldn't help but to smile and giggle a bit along with everyone. What can I say? Laughing is contagious.
"It's nothing you haven't said to me before." Shawn struggled to say in between laughs. I gasped, lifting my head off of him as everyone laughed louder. I reached my arm out to his face, gently bringing my hand across it. It made a small slapping sound as I hit his cheek.
"That is not true and you know it!" I yelled, my face most likely redder than a cherry. Shawn patted my back with his large hand.
"You're right. You're innocent." Shawn reciprocated, adding the second part on at the end.
"Innocent, innocent?" I heard someone, probably Teddy, ask. Shawn shifted his attention to the person who had just spoken and I followed.
"Innocent, innocent." He confirmed. I saw peoples eyes widen, others raised their eyebrows, questioning if that was the truth.
I didn't care if they all knew that I was a virgin. If Shawn would trust all of them with his life, I didn't see anything wrong with them knowing an insignificant detail about me. Okay, maybe it wasn't as insignificant as I thought it to be.
"Damn, sis." Teddy said, a smile of what I hoped was respect spreading across her face.
"Mine." Shawn said, reaching his arms out for me like a child who wanted a toy. Before he could touch me and pull me in, I slid off of the beanbag and onto the ground. I smiled at him and scrunched my face up, Shawn doing the same as I stuck my tongue out at him.
He made an unreadable expression before popping off of the beanbag, on his feet and walking towards me with an adorable little smile on his face.
"No!" I squealed as I got onto my feet as quickly as possible, running to the nearest person that could protect me from the wrath of Shawn's tickles.
There was a thing that we had talked about over the months we were apart where Shawn would tell me how much he wanted to tickle me as a punishment if I ever said or did something smart (strange, I know. It was his idea). I was assuming that once he got to me, he would tickle me until I couldn't breath.
I sprinted halfway across the living room to Brian, who was seated on the carpet relatively close to an inactive stone fireplace. Once I'm next to him, I plop down on his side and grab his clothed arm, cuddling it like a stuffed animal. I heard a low chuckle come from Brian as Shawn slows to a stop in front of us.
"Man, give us some space." Brian said to Shawn, who narrowed his eyes at the two of us.
"Go away, loser." I commented, blowing him a raspberry as I scoot a little closer to Brian.
