"He fucking wrote back!" I scream into the house. "They were digging tunnels! He said it feels like they've hardly seen daylight!" I say and shake my head. The largest weight has been lifted off my shoulders
"Let me see!" Ada shouts back, and Finn runs to me, snatching the paper from my hands to see the writing. He can't read, but he knows Thomas' signature.
"Thank fuck." He shakes his head and then hands me the paper back and walking away, and Ada and I exchange a look before bursting into giggles.
