Ella Mai sits up, after hearing Jaden's name.

"Jaden... Hey man."

"Khalid, I'm sorry for overreacting that night." He said. "You were right, I would've been pissed if he did the same to Amandla."

"I was wrong for what I said man."

"No you was not, you made a great point, and my sensitive ass got triggered." He sighs. "I just... I think... I think I love her man."

"Really dude?" Khalid gasped.

"What did he say?" Ella Mai whispered.

Khalid put him on speaker.

"Yeah bro, she really got to me man."

"Dang."

"Awwwww."

"Ella Mai?"

"Oops." Khalid said to himself.

"Yo, did you put me on speaker?"

"Yes?"

"He sure did, Jaden." Ella Mai laughs.

Jaden laughs too.

"Who would've knew you'd have Ella Mai at your house?"

"You and Amandla." Khalid said.

"Oh you smartass."

Khalid and Ella Mai started laughing.

"Hey, you asked."

"Whatever bro, coming to school tomorrow?"

"Yeah, I'm always there."

"Bet, I'm about to hit the sheets man."

"Alright man, lates."

"Night man."

Khalid hangs up.

"Well... at least y'all good now." She said.

"Yeah, finally."

She laughs. They get in the blankets, and cuddled each other. She looks at him.

"I love you."

"I love you too babe."

She pecked his lips, and fell asleep after a minute. Khalid fell asleep too.

The next day...

Khalid and Ella Mai gets off the bus, heading to the cafe. They found Jaden and Amandla sitting at a table. They sat with them.

"Good to see you." Khalid told Jaden.

"What's good bro?"

"Nothing man, I have a game tonight, y'all coming?"

"Hell yeah bro!"

"Of course Khalid!"

"You know I'm coming babe."

Khalid smiles. Trevor and Quavious came.

"Yo, we got practice right now." Quavo says.

"But class is in 30 minutes."

"Don't worry, our coach excused us from class bro." Trevor said.

"Oh."

Khalid looks back at his friends.

"You should go babe, we'll be in class." Ella Mai says.

"You sure?"

"Babe! I'll be fine, I promise."
