4. Hesitant

Flashback Zayn

"Liam always finds the right words," I whisper in Harry's ear, hugging him tightly. 

He often struggles with homesickness and loneliness. He is our baby, whom we all protect. Lost in thought, I feel him snuggling close to my body, with his long arms round me and whispers in my ear:

 "But you're a man of deeds."

 I feel his breath and his soft lips on my neck. My heartbeats is racing, blood rushes through the veins at top speed, causing my body temperature to rise rapidly. As if that were not enough already, his fingertips massage my stomach in a circle and I almost lose my composure.  To my right,  Louis sits and watching the scenario grimly. I feel uncomfortable, embrace Louis helplessly and don't really know how to respond. Jerkily, I turn my face to Harry and look at him in disbelief. What does all this mean? Harry's disappointment  was written all over his face. He free himself from the hug, blushes and runs his fingers through his curls.

I've had a crush on Harry since the beginning of our music career.  This curly head  - with his green eyes and his dimples - has stolen my heart. Already in the X Factor house, when we all five lived in the same room, I succumbed to his charm. Louis and Harry were inseparable, like two peas in a pod . We others had almost no chance to get to know him properly.The two kept fooling around and not leaving their side. Once Harry rummaged through my toiletries on TV and made fun of me. He left no chance to embarrass me. 

So what should suddenly be this strong physical contact during the interview? I never noticed  Harry had any real interest in my person. I was always the shy and taciturn Mr. Vain. But who I really am,  nobody cares - especially not Harry Styles.  Thus, I leave my thoughts to one side for the time being and focused on the interview and the fans questions.
