I can't face the dark
without you

"It doesn't matter if I could turn back the clock, if I could straighten out the mistakes, and save Namjoon," Seokjin lets out a sigh, and a tear escapes his eye. "This is the world I have to live in, and this is the fate I must go through," He continues, and stands up to leave the hospital. "So I will accept it willingly."

When he turns around to face the old man for the last time, he notices that he is no longer there.

❝You have learned your lesson...❞ The voice says, which belongs to none other than the old man, and fills the boy with terror. ❝Have a nice life... Kim Seokjin.❞

A bitter smile appears on his face, and teardrops start running down his cheeks as he is making his way out of the hospital, but he stops when his father shouts out his name, "Seokjin!"

The boy freezes in his spot, and closes his eyes, tightly. "Yes, father?"

"I'm sorry for your loss," He pulls his son into a tight hug, and pats his back while he knows that the poor boy has not stopped crying, yet. "I'm sure that he is in a better place, now."

A doctor walks up to them, and as soon as Seokjin sees him, he asks a question, "Can I see him, doctor?"

Lost and alone. These two words can describe how he really feels, at the moment. He has never felt this broken before.

He wishes to turn back the clock? No. Never. He has learned his lesson. He now knows that nothing can change in this world. He now knows that he has to accept what the universe has chosen before.

"Of course." The doctor replies, and leads Seokjin and his father to the room where Namjoon is.

When the boy sees his lover on the hospital bed, he runs towards him just to leave a kiss on his lips, but this does not stop him from crying louder than before.

"It's my fault," He says as he is trying to catch his breath. "I should have come to you when you needed me," He pulls the young man's head into a hug, and runs his fingers through his soft hair. "You will always remain in my heart. No matter what."

"Come on, son, let's go home." His father says, wanting his son to go home with him, because he knows that the more he stays, and talk with his dead lover, the more he will feel the pain through his chest.

"Time flies," Seokjin snifs the air through his nose, and lets go of Namjoon, slowly. "But your memory lasts forever."

Turning his back on his lover, he walks up to the door to leave the room with his father, and leave Namjoon behind once and for all, but he stops when one of the nurses starts to shout, "Doctor!"

Seokjin and his father turn their faces at them who seem to be freaking out. "That's impossible!" The doctor shouts, and runs up to the young man to see if what is happening is real or not. "A miracle! It's a miracle!"

Slowly, Namjoon opens his eyes, but his vision is still a little bit blured. "Ugh—" He places his hand on his forehead, and looks around, carefully, examining everything and everybody in the room.

"Namjoon!" Full of joy and happiness, Seokjin runs up to the young man in order to give him a hug, and of course, to hold him tightly in his arms like he is not planning to let go.

"S-Seok—j-jin..." Shocked, he widens his eyes as he is feeling so much pain, because the boy is tightening his arms around his waist. "You're killing me."

"Shut up!" Seokjin shouts, and laughs as he can not stop crying, either. "You have just come back to life, so I'm not letting you die, again."

"Came b-back to life?" He questions, and the boy remains silent, wanting to enjoy this beautiful moment as he still has time. "Why are you crying?" He wipes away his boy friend's teardrops that have already fallen down on his cheeks. "Did I-I do s-something wrong?"

"Yes," He answers, and leaves the young man in a huge shock. "You stole my heart."

"You're weird," He says, and lets out a deep breath. "But that's why I love you." He laughs, but prefers to keep the peaceful silence between them as they are trying to enjoy the most beautiful moment in their lives.
