*3 Months Later*

Ember walked up the hill all alone, early in the morning like she did every day, and stood in front of the statue of Sapphire. She sighed sadly as tears started to form around her eyes.

"God... I-I-I can't... I don't know how to do this without you." Ember sobbed as her knees gave out and she fell down to the prickly grass.

It was a wet dew morning and little water droplets seeped onto her skin. Ember cried and hugged the gravestone.

Then she heard footsteps arriving, she gasped and quickly turned around to see Ethan standing there, one of Emily's closest friends and Ember's too. She got up to her feet and hugged Ethan.

"I miss her so much..." Ember whispered softly as he rubbed her shoulders and cried softly as well.

She sighed heavily and wiped away her tears, her eyes were groggily and her hair was a little tangled up. Ethan stroked her cheek and smiled warmly.

Ember smiled back and chuckled softly. Suddenly she felt her heart pang with love that hit her so hard, she couldn't shake it off.

Her cheeks flared pink as she tried to hide the blushing, but Ethan just pulled her in for one last hug.

"Let's go for a little dragon ride." Ethan grinned as Ember chuckled a little in excitement.

"Sure." Ember said happily.

Ethan ran down the hill as he hollered and whooped. He shifted into Raven, a tanzanite dragon. Raven lifted into the sky and soared through the clouds as Spectrum shot up into the sky.

Spectrum roared happily as Raven roared back. Raven went upside down as Spectrum and Raven's eyes met and he flipped over to the back of Spectrum, he flew side by side with Spectrum. She purred as her scales started glowing and he noticed.

"Woah... what's that about?" Raven asked as Spectrum blushed even harder which made her scales glow even brighter. She then quickly dashed away.

"Hey!" Raven called out as he chuckled softly and dashed after Spectrum.

Spectrum zipped through the sky, moving ever so swiftly and twirled and flipped and blew her rainbow fire. She laughed hard as she haven't had this much fun in awhile. Raven then smirks as a lightbulb lit up above his head.

"Let's do a competition, first we'll race then fight to show our powers. And may the best dragon win." Raven smiled smugly as Spectrum chuckled and knew that he was way outmatched.

"You're on." Spectrum smirked as she waiting for the count down.

"On three... three!" Raven grunted as he dashed away with Spectrum quickly dashing after him.

Spectrum caught up to him as he made a sharp turn, she opened her wings as wide as she could as the wind lifted her up, she twirled right side up, she then clapped her wings to go higher, Raven liked to stay close to the ground, being daring and barely missing obstacles.

Spectrum flew overhead of Raven and dashed down to the ground in front of him, Raven crashed into Spectrum as she fell to the ground.

"Owww!" Spectrum groaned in pain as Raven shook his head.

"Sorry..." He said weakly with pain.

Raven, out of nowhere, blasts ice to her face. Spectrum quickly dodged it and stood on all fours. They both walked in opposite directions, facing the other's tail, walking slowly in a circle.

Then Raven jumped back as he hovered in the air, he blasted an avalanche of ice at Spectrum as she jumped up and crashed into Raven.

Raven crashed to the ground, as he slid creating a dirt line. Raven stood up on all fours and shook the mud off of his head. He growled playfully as he shot up into the sky and flew far far away.

"Wha? Where are you going bud?!" Spectrum roared after him as she scurried after him.

Raven stopped at this open plains that goes on for miles and miles, surrounded by mountains very far away from the village.

"What are you doing?" Spectrum laughed as Raven smirked.

Then he bolted up into the sky and came dashing down as he twirled, he kept going and going, at the very last second.

He expanded his wings as deep loud thunder-like boom, shook the earth vicariously as a huge wave of debris was sent in all multiple directions.

Spectrum gasped and she got pushed along with the wind, it carried her until she crashed against a boulder.

Spectrum groaned weakly in pain as blood was bleeding from her head. She inhaled sharply as it stung. Raven quickly landed and walked up to her.

"Woah... you okay?" Raven asked as Spectrum turned around, and sighed deeply.

"Yeah.. that was epic!" Spectrum beamed as she giggled and Raven laughed along too.
"Ow." She said softly as Raven's eyes softened.

"Let me see it." He said as Spectrum leaned her head towards his.

He purred as he licked the wound and healed it. He instantly made Spectrum feel better as she sighed warmly and closed her eyes.

She purred strongly and purely out of love for him. Raven then curled his tail up with hers. Her scales glowing as his crystal tail gleamed brightly. They looked into each other's eyes as they both knew.

They both loved each other with a firey, pure love that rose in their hearts.

Then they both started shifted back together, Ember didn't even realize she was still hugging him. She gasped as she pulled away and quickly grabbed clothes out of her bag, she put them on and threw clothes to Ethan. It was silence for awhile until he broke it.

"Ember..." He said softly with a heavy sigh, "I... I love you." He blurted out as his cheeks started blushing red, which made Ember blush too.

"I love you too, thank you for always being there for me." Ember smiled warmly as Ethan chuckled softly,
"I've never stopped loving you." Ethan said as Ember nodded.

"Me neither." Ember hugged Ethan as he hugged her tightly back.

Then he pulled away, "I don't think you understand just how much..."

He leaned in and kissed Ember on the lips, as Ember closed her eyes and the whole world was spinning. She felt his love course through her heart, she kissed back and it went on for a few seconds.

Then Ethan pulled away, "... I love you."
