Sapphire's POV:

"I think that's enough for tonight. You're dueling skills are really coming along nicely." Professor Grindelwald said after we had finished this weeks extra dueling lessons. "Thanks professor." I replied, blushing slightly. "How many times do I have to tell you, Sapphire? You can call me Gellert when we're alone; we're friends now after all." He replied, and smiled slightly. Calling him by his first name is something I'll have to get use to. I just hoped I didn't call him Gellert in front of the class or another teacher. "Sorry, it's a force of habit I guess." I said, shrugging my shoulders slightly. "It's alright. Come with me to my office, I was hoping you and I could have a little chat before I send you off to your dorm." He said, gesturing for me to follow him. I trailed behind him and he closed the door after I had entered the room. He told me to have a seat in front of his desk, and I did so. I couldn't help but wonder what he wanted to talk about. Hopefully he didn't want to discontinue our extra lessons; I was actually quite enjoying them, especially since it meant we could spend more time together. We got to know each other a little more as well. "Would you like some tea?" He asked me curiously as a teapot emerged from a cabinet with a flick of his wand. "Sure." I replied. I was in the mood for a good cup of tea to be honest. "Hope you don't mind plain black tea. I ran out of my special fruit tea the other day. I'll have to make a trip and pick up some supplies to make more before winter starts." He said, and my heart skipped a beat. 'So the night he took me to the room of requirement wasn't a dream.' I said inside of my head. "Sure, that's fine." I replied happily. He heated the water in the teapot and poured it into two cups filled with tea bags. I was honestly glad that he had tea bags, because I was getting sick and tired of reading tea leaves in Deviation. Not that I didn't live Deviation... it's just that professor Trelawney likes to do leave readings way too often. Professor Grindelwald asked me how my other classes were going and if I was enjoying them. I expressed that I liked all of the classes I was taking and they were going well. "So, are you excited for the Hufflepuff versus Gryffindor match this weekend?" He asked me curiously before he took a sip of his tea. "Actually I am. I really hope Hufflepuff wins, especially since Nick made the team." I said with a small smile. "That's wonderful." He replied, taking another drink. We sat and drank our tea in comfortable silence for a few moments before either one of us spoke up once more. "Can I ask you a question?" He asked as he placed his teacup down in its saucer. "Of course." I replied doing the same with my now empty cup. "Do you really want to be friends with me? Or... do you just feel sorry for me? Is it because of the state I was in when you stumbled upon me in the shrieking shack?" He asked me curiously. The sadness that lingered behind his beautifully unique eyes made my heart ache. Even though his questions kinda surprised me, I know too well why he asked me what he did. "Of course I want to be friends with you, Gellert. I wouldn't have agreed to being your friend if I didn't mean it. I'm not the kind of person that says and does things I don't mean." I replied, and a wave of relief seemed to wash over him. His posture looked more relaxed all of a sudden, and his eyes brightened up. "Good. I... I don't think I can take someone leaving me again." He muttered softly, and I wondered what he was talking about. I didn't ask questions though, because I figured he'd tell me when he was ready. But I honestly related to him so much; my Ilvermorny friends had abandoned me, and that's the worst feeling ever. I spoke to him about my experience with losing friendships and having trust issues, along with how Draco and Nick have taught me to trust again. I wished that I could help him trust again as well. Friday came quickly with rain showers and high winds. I felt absolutely horrible for Nick, because he'd have to play Quidditch against Gryffindor in this treacherous weather. 'At least it isn't a thunderstorm.' I thought inside of my head as I got out of bed and got ready for the day. I put on a pair of black jeans, a plain black long sleeved t-shirt, and a pair of dark gray converse. Since the school would be heading down to the Quidditch field after breakfast, I put on a black pull over hoodie; I didn't wanna get totally soaked in the rain. Then I walked out into the common room where several students were talking excitedly about today's Quidditch match. 'I can't wait to see how excited they get when it's a Slytherin match.' I said inside of my head. I decided to wait on Draco to get up before going down to the Great Hall for breakfast, so I took a seat in one of the chairs next to the fireplace. As I sat and looked at the emerald flames, I couldn't help but hope that Hufflepuff won today's match. I didn't want Nick's first match to be disappointing for him, especially he has waited so long to be on the team. My stomach growled, and my mind drifted off; I was busy thinking about food when I felt a hand placed on my shoulder. "Hey, are you ready to go to breakfast?" Draco's voice said, pulling my attention from the fire. "Yeah." I replied as I looked over at him and stood up. He was wearing a pair of blue jeans, black combat boots, and a Slytherin green rain coat. We walked out of the portrait hole and made our way down to the Great Hall. The hallways were bussing with life, especially from the Hufflepuff and Gryffindor students. I have to admit that some of the excitement was wearing off on me as well, even if I'm not really into Quidditch all that much. Nick got up from the Hufflepuff table to greet us as soon as we walked into the Great Hall. "How are you feeling? Excited, I bet." Draco said with a small smile on his face. "Yeah, and a bit nervous." He replied with a slight laugh. "Don't worry, we'll be in the stands cheering you on!" I said with a smile. "Good luck today, mate." Draco said, giving Nick a hearty pat on the back. "Thanks guys, if really means a lot." He replied happily. He looked as if we had made him feel a little better, but I could still tell he was nervous. He joined his fellow Hufflepuffs while Draco and I sat down at the Slytherin table. I filled my plate with scrambled eggs, sausage, and toast before I took a healthy gulp of coffee. Draco piled his plate full as well, and I figured the excitement gave everyone a heart appetite this morning. After a while I noticed the Quidditch teams leave their tables. That's when I realized that Harry was part of the Gryffindor team. "Hopefully Potter misses the snitch today. If he doesn't then Gryffindor will surely win." Draco said as they passed the Slytherin table. Many of our fellow snakes booed and hissed at them, but we just watched as they went. Once I finished eating I just sat and enjoyed my never ending cup of coffee. Draco asked about the extra lessons I was receiving from professor Grindelwald, and I told him they were going well. I also wanted to tell him that I had become friends with Grindelwald as well, but that could wait until later. We got dismissed to go down to the field, but I made sure to make a quick stop by the bathroom before hand. I didn't wanna be watching the match and then get the sudden urge to urinate. Draco kindly offered to wait on me in the hallway, and I was thankful that he did. I didn't wanna walk down all by myself and have to stand beside people I really didn't know. When we reached the stands we patiently waited for the match to start. Everyone was talking in excited murmurs, but I was feeling a little nervous. 'Hopefully Harry won't catch the snitch today.' I said inside of my head, but I wasn't so sure if the odds were in our favour. I retrieved my wand from my pocket and dried the seats with a flick of my wrist. Draco and I quickly sat down so the rain didn't have time to soak the benches again. "Maybe it'll be dry for the next match." I said hopefully. "It'll probably dry, but It'll definitely be a lot colder." Draco replied. The Gryffindor team walked out into the field and the stands roared with cheers from the Gryffindors and Ravenclaws; boos from the Hufflepuffs and Slytherins. The vice versa happened when the Hufflepuff team walked out onto the field. I highly doubted that the players could hear us due to the heavy rain and loud winds. The loud, high pitch sound of a whistle pierced the air and they were off! Five minutes into the game and Gryffindor has already scored fifteen points. I was a little disappointed, but I my hope wasn't entirely lost yet. Hufflepuff still could win if they made more goals or if the seeker caught the snitch. It felt like hours and hours, mostly because we were getting soaked to the bone with ice cold rain. The cool winds didn't help in the slightest either. I could only imagine how miserable the players felt out of in the field. A few more minutes went by and the match was finally over. Gryffindor won by a landslide, because Harry Potter caught the snitch. "Rotten luck." Draco said, but he didn't seem really disappointed. In all honesty, I wasn't entirely disappointed either; I just hoped that Nick wasn't devastated about losing. When the stands started clearing out, Draco and I headed down to the Hufflepuff locker room. Surprisingly we were left inside, and we went straight to Nick. He was drying his purple hair with a towel and was splattered in mud. "How are you feeling now?" Draco asked him curiously once he spotted us. "I'm a little disappointed that we didn't win, but I'm not depressed over it. I'm just glad I got the opportunity to play." Nick replied with a tired smile on his face. The three of us walked back up the castle in the pouring rain in high spirits even though Hufflepuff lost. We broke apart to dry off in our dorms before we met up with each other in the astronomy tower. It wasn't the warmest place, but the library was packed full of students. We didn't feel like dealing with a bunch of people. We just wanted to enjoy each other's company. Each of us were wearing dry clothes and the thought of dinner was keeping us warm. Nick told us how he was feeling and thinking during the Quidditch match. The three of us laughing at certain parts as well, but our laughter was cut short by a all too familiar voice. "What on earth are you there doing up here? It's freezing. I expected you all to be in your common rooms hugging the fireplace, especially you Nick." Professor Dumbledore said. He was standing there with a sparkle in his blue eyes and his hands buried deep in his pants pockets. His light brown hair had highlights of blond and red mingled in with light touches of gray. "Sorry professor. We wanted to hangout at the library, but it was terribly crowded." Nick apologized with widened eyes. "It's alright, you're not in trouble." He said with a small amused smile on his face. His glittering eyes looked over each of us rather slowly in an amused sort of way. There was a certain kind of warmth that radiated from him as he stood there silently. "Come on, let me get the three of you a nice cup of tea. I'm sure your all absolutely freezing." He said as a larger smile spread across his face. Draco, Nick, and I stood up and followed professor Dumbledore down the astronomy tower steps. The headmaster lead us to the same stone gargoyle I saw when I first set foot into the castle. That's when I realized he was taking us to his office. 'He's up to something. I don't know what, but he's up to something.' I said inside of my head. I just had a gut feeling that he wasn't just offering us warmth and tea out of the kindness of his heart. But I figured that at least part of his offer was based on kindness. "Fudge Flies." Dumbledore said, which I figured was the new password to enter his office. The gargoyle started moving, and it eventually revealed spiral stone steps that lead upwards. We followed him upstairs and entered his office. "Please have a seat." He said. Wish a wave of his wand three comfortable looking chairs appeared in the room for us to sit on. We sat down as he instructed and took in our surroundings. The room looked just like it had the first time I came in here. I sort of doubted that he changed the interior design of his office very often. A few moments later a round table appeared in front of us, and it filled with tea cups and saucers. A plate of cookies and crumpets were placed beside a steaming pot of delicious smelling tea. Dumbledore joined us at the table and magically filled our cups with steaming hot liquid. "The tea should warm you all up fairly nicely." He said with that same smile on his face. We drank the tea he had prepared for us, and Draco grabbed a crumpet while Nick grabbed a cookie. I just stuck to tea; I was saving my appetite for dinner. Dumbledore asked us about our classes like the kind and concerned headmaster that he is. After we talked for a while he allowed us to leave so we wouldn't be late for dinner. Even though the tea we shared with Dumbledore seemed innocent, I still couldn't shake the feeling that he was up to something.
