Sapphire's POV:

"It's a wonderful day for reading." Dumbledore's voice said, taking me out of my thoughts. I was currently sitting in the library doing some of the work professor Snape has given me. When I looked up I saw Dumbledore standing in front of me at the table I was seated at. "Yeah, it is. Too bad I have to do homework instead." I replied with a slight laugh, and a small smile spread across his face. A moment of silence passed over us as I continued doing my homework. He asked me if he could join me, and I said he could. Even though I was slightly angry with him I couldn't make it obvious that I was. "Sapphire, I know this might he inconvenient but I must talk to you. There's something you need to know.... I haven't been completed honest with you." He said, catching my attention. I sat the quill I was holding down and looked up at him from the essay I had been writing. His usually sparkling blue eyes weren't twinkling in the light, which wasn't normal. There was obviously something bothering him and he seemed as if he wanted to get it off of his chest. "What do you need to tell me?" I asked him curiously with furrowed brows. He told me that he and the ministry lied to me about my parents. I was surprised that he actually came clean and told me that Voldemort had used the imperius curse on them. Deep down I figured he's keep silent about it until I eventually confronted him about it, but it turns out that I was wrong. "Why didn't you just tell me the truth in the first place?" I asked him curiously after he finished talking. "Because I was afraid that you'd go off seeking Voldemort. I was afraid that you'd try and get your parents back." He said with a worried look in his blue eyes. "Then you must not know me as well as you think, professor Dumbledore." I said, and he looked down at the table for a few seconds before looking back up at me. "Apparently so." He replied in a softer voice than I expected out of him. We sat there silently before I went back to writing my essay. I was waiting on him to get up and leave, but he never did. Instead he spoke up again. "Here." He said, handing me a white colored card. "What's this?" I asked him curiously with furrowed brows. "An address. Be there on the seventh of July." He said ad he stood up from the table. "Why?" I asked him curiously. "Because it's the safest way to try and get your parents back. Good day, Miss Vander." He said before he stood up and pushed the chair in behind him before he left. I sat there and watched him disappear through the library doors. Then I glanced down at the card he gave me. 12 Grimmauld Place was written on the white surface in thin, fancy writing. The picture of a street was printed on the back of the card as well. I slipped the card in my pocket before returning my focus on the essay I had been attempting to finish. As soon as I did so, I dried the ink quickly with a flick of my wand before rolling it up and putting it in my school bag. I checked the time and hurried back to the potions classroom to start my second half of lessons for today. When I walked through the door I found Snape sitting at his desk scribbling on some papers. When he noticed that I was in the room he started on our lessons again. I took some notes before I started brewing a new potion. After most of the ingredients were already in the cauldron, I figured I'd ask what 12 Grimmauld Place was. For some odd reason I had a feeling that he's know. "Professor, can I ask you something?" I asked him curiously as I added some lace wing flies into the aqua blue colored potion. "Of course, Miss Vander." He replied in his deep baritone voice. "What's 12 Grimmauld Place?" I asked him with slightly furrowed brows. He looked at me with his onyx eyes as a long moment of silence settled down upon the two of us. As I waited for his reply I added some flux weed and crushed werewolf teeth into the potion. As the ingredients mixed in with the rest, the bubbling liquid turned a light violet color. "Who told you of that address?" He asked me curiously with a slightly suspicious look in his eyes. "Professor Dumbledore. He told me to be there on the seventh of July," I said as I stirred the potion in a figure eight motion. "He told me the truth about my parents today. Apparently he said that if I go to that address on the seventh of July, I could get closer to helping my parents." I said as I added dragon's blood to the potion. The liquid turned red, but it wasn't a deep red color; the potion was kinda translucent. "It's a safe house for The Order of the Phoenix members." He replied. As I finished up the potion I was brewing, he explained to my what The Order of the Phoenix was. Apparently it's a group of witches and wizards who have came together in the fight against Voldemort. It sounded like something I would be interested in joining, but I wasn't entirely sure if I should trust Dumbledore. "Obviously, he's trying to recruit you." Snape said as I poured the potion into a vial. "Yes, but why?" I replied with furrowed brows. I knew he knew I'd want to help save my parents, but why did he want me to join them? Shouldn't a professor's main purpose be to protect his students, especially when he's a headmaster. "You're a powerful and gifted witch, Miss Vander. That's why." He replied, which took me by surprise. I never expected someone would want me to join in the fight against Voldemort, but I can't deny that I was flattered. But I failed to see what makes them feel like I would be a good warrior against he who must not be named. "I don't feel like a powerful and gifted witch." I said as I cleaned up and he examined the potion I had just finished brewing. "Look, Miss Vander. Not all witches and wizards your age should have been able to make this potion. It takes a certain skill to make potions; it isn't just following instructions on the page of a book. You have the gift." He said, which made a little uncomfortable, but I appreciated his praise. Even though it made me uncomfortable, it did give me a little confidence boost. Once we were finished for the day I went to my private quarters and got started on the homework Snape had given me. As I got started on my work there was a knock on my door. "Who is it?" I asked curiously as I sat my potions book out. "It's me." I heard Gellert's voice say on the other side of the door. "Come in." I replied. I was so happy to see him, especially after a long day of homework and studying. He opened the door and walked inside before sitting the door behind him. "Hey, how was your day, sweetheart?" He asked me curiously as he walked over to the couch and took a seat next to me. "It was alright." I said as I looked up from my work. He was looking at me with a soft look in his beautiful multi colored eyes. After he moved closer to me he placed a loving kiss on my forehead, which made me smile. I leaned over to him and kissed his cheek. I ended up telling him what Dumbledore said to me plus what Snape and I talked about while I was doing my homework. "Are you going to the meeting in July?" He asked me curiously after he made me a hot cup of tea. "Probably. I wanna help my parents as much as I can and if I can." I replied. "Good, because I'm a member of the order as well. A couple of the professors are." He said, and I asked him which professors were members of The Order of the Phoenix. Apparently professor Snape, professor McGonagall, and professor Kreizler were all members of The Order. I was so glad that Gellert was a member of the group, because I'd feel way too nervous and alone if I went without him. We drank tea as I did all of my homework. I felt so happy once everything was finished and put away for tomorrow's lessons. After dinner, Gellert had some stuff to do which made me feel a little sad. I was really looking forward to spending time with him tonight, but he couldn't just skip out on a meeting. So instead of staying in my private quarters I went for a walk around the grounds. 'Maybe I could go and visit Hagrid. I mean... he wouldn't mind having a visitor would he?' I wondered inside of my head. After a few minutes of consideration I eventually decided to go ahead and give him a visit. 'He's probably lonely since he doesn't have Ron, Harry, Hermione, and occasionally Draco going to see him. I knocked on the door and the sound of his dog barking filled my ears. A few seconds passed before the door opened and revealed the half giant that was professor Hagrid. "What are you doing here, Miss Vander?" He asked me curiously, but there was a kind smile behind his thick grizzly beard. "I thought you might be lonely, so I decided to come down to see how you've been doing." I replied with a small smile. He invited me inside and offered to make me a cup of tea. The two of us drank and talked about the lessons Snape had been teaching me among other things. I really understood why my Gryffindor friends enjoyed spending time with him. Before the sun set we said our goodbyes and I walked back up to the castle and went to my private quarters. After I changed into my pajamas I just sat down on the couch and relaxed. I had a feeling that once I went to that meeting at 12 Grimmauld Place, everything was going to change.
