Michael POV

Dear Diary,
I'm lactose intolerant. A lot of lactose intolerant people say screw it and drink milk, but I don't. I don't like feeling sick from it. It's just not worth it to me. Anyway it's a Monday morning, my first at the new place, so I'm doing the obvious thing. Trying the closest coffee shop that I will probably be at everyday. I'll be back later to write about how that goes.

"Hi, can I have a caramel mocha latte made with almond milk instead?" I say
"I'm so sorry sir, but we don't have almond milk, we have this weird lactose free milk instead" says the barista. He's tall, with curly brown hair. He looks kinda nerdy, but in a cute way.
"Oh. That's fine I guess." I was a little upset. There was no good replacement for milk besides almond milk.
I got my latte and it was okay I guess. I just wished it had almond milk. And that barista looked so apologetic when he said there wasn't any. It's good enough though. And it's so close, I think it's worth it. So I decide to keep going there every day.
——————time skip for like, three months——————
I go into the coffee shop like normal and order my normal order of a caramel mocha latte with the weird lactose free milk. I get my coffee and sit down to do some homework. I take one sip and almost spit it out. It tastes different than normal. It tastes better. Then I realize there is almond milk in it. I go up to the barista to ask him.
"Hey, did you guys get almond milk?"
"Umm...no. I bought it. I've seen you heere everyday. I'm Jeremy, you're Michael right?"
Yeah........ how did you know my name?"
"You give it to me everyday for coffee, remember?"
"Oh yeah"
"So I know it's sudden, but do you want to go out sometime?" He said
"Sure" I say.
I guess I just got my first boyfriend
