Jeremy POV

Michael is hiding something. I know he is. But I figure it's a surprise, since my birthday is in two days, so I'm not going to bother him about it.

3rd person cause I can't write in first

Jeremy went and sat down on the couch. His cat, Pumpkin Spice Latte (he called him Latte), curled up in his lap. He absentmindedly stroked lattes fur while scrolling through Instagram, wondering what Michael had gotten him. It had to be something pretty big, because he had barely seen Michael and when he did, Michael was acting really weird.

"What's up, ma dude" Jeremy said

"Meow dude? Why would you say that? There's no cat? I don't have a cat. I don't know what you are talking about." Michael said at the speed on light

"I said my dude, not meow." Jeremy said, obviously confused

"Oooooohhhhhh, welll I gotta go BI" Michael then ran off

So yeah, he was acting strange. But all would soon be revealed.

Time skip to Jeremy's Birthday

"Happy Birthday Jere." Michael said, holding a kitten

"Thanks Micha, who's this little guy?" Jeremy said, going to pet the cat.

"This is Strawberry Frappuccino. I thought you could call her Berry. She's your birthday gift."

"You got me a kitten!!! Thank you so so so so so much."

"Yeah no problem Jeremy."

The two of them sat down on the couch with the cats in their arms. They buried themselves in blankets and pillows and watched movies and shows for the rest of the day. The kittens would stay on their laps for a while and would go play, before getting tired and curling back up. Overall, Jeremy had an amazing birthday, spent with his little fur-baby family.

Oof that's short. Pumpkin Spice Latte actually is my cat. I'm trying to convince my mom to get us another cat because a week after we got Latte, our first cat died. That was back in early November and now I want another cat. We were prepared to have two then, but now my mom says we have enough pets. I do not understand this.
