Worlds most Mild sexual reference, nothing descriptive. Fluff, but a little stronger. Trying to re-learn how to write, so probably not great.

Michael POV

Jeremy Heere. My best friend since beginning of 7th grade. My crush since halfway through 7th grade. One problem, I don't want to ruin our friendship. I mean, it's the best friendship, we play video games, we share plates of loaded curly fries at Betty's diner, and we connect perfectly. Almost too perfectly. I want him, and not in a friendship kinda way. Sometimes, I just lie in bed and imagine, what it would be like to be with him, what it would feel like to have his body pressed into mine, what it would be like to wake up, and see his eyes looking back at mine, and then I get sad, knowing I'll never have him. He couldn't possibly love me, I'm his best friend.
———Micheals basement playing video games————
We're playing AOTD, our favorite game. Maybe I should tell him. Get the weight off my shoulders, stop feeling like I'm carrying around a secret.
"J-Jere?"
"Wassup?"
"I um..... never mind"
What if I told him? What if I ruined our friendship? What if he hated me? I can't do it. But I have to. I have to be honest with him. We tell each other everything. I have to tell him this.
"Je-Jeremy?"
"What is it?"
"I...uh....I like........ YOUTUBE"
"Who doesn't?"
"I know but I like it more than the average person."
"Sure. Ok"
I had to do it. I had to man up and tell him. I couldn't live with myself if I didn't.
"I......ILIKEYOU"
"W-what'd you say, Michael?"
"I said I uh, I like you."
"Oh. I like you too Micha" he patted me on the back and went back to focusing on the game.
"No I mean, like, not as a friend."
"oh. OH. OH MY GOD."
"I-I'm sorry. I shouldn't have. I'll leave." I grabbed my coat and walked towards the door.
"No, Michael wait."
He grabbed me by the arm, and turned me to face him. He looked me in the eyes for a second and kissed me. HE kissed ME. I was so surprised I almost forgot to kiss back. He pulled away first.
"I like you too, Michael."
I kissed him again, this time more passionately. I wanted him. And now I had him. Now, we should plan a date.
