Time Machine

If I had a time machine, I'd go back in time
Times where words are as beautiful as a rhyme
Where my mind was immature, and myself a child
Where emotions were irrelevant, and imagination ran wild

If I had a time machine, I'd come back to the past all over
Back to the times I could least remember
To the moments that I would run down the streets
Way before this heart of mine was torn to bits

If I had a time machine, I'd have a different choice
A choice I'd never forget or regret
A choice where atleast I can be happy
A choice where nothing can shatter me

If I had a time machine, I'd rather not meet you
Change my fate, history and destiny too
For if only I knew that meeting you meant shattering me,
I'd rather not have you in my memory.
