I Lied

I lied about what I felt
I lied about how It felt
I lied about how it affected me
I lied about how it had greatly hurt me

It hurts, like a bullet through the heart
Like a hand wounded by a glass shard
Being trapped inside yet you still try
Being hurt, yet had no tears left to cry

The grenade exploded, swept the Earth
An Earth that is, my whole world
Yet how can the grenade explode and swipe off the Earth
When the grenade was actually my world?

The hardest part about lying aren't the consequences
Nor the punishment or sacrifices
It's the part where you're holding back your tears, really, really hard and badly
Because you're already fooled the world, for them you are happy.
