Unexpected Love

Chapter 4

Zacs POV

It'd had been 6 days since that night in the hotel bar with Z and I for sure knew something was different, everytime she spoke or someone mentioned her name my whole body just melted, I think I really like this girl, but there's 9 years between us, a billion magazine stories that would come out, and the fact that I really don't think she feels the same.

Today we were filming our first ever scenes, and I was heading to my trailer to be told what to wear and what lines to go through.

"Alright give it to me, what am I doing today?" I said to Elle, who was helping me out in my trailer so I could get into character. She handed me the brief for the day and my script and smiled as I started to read it. My eyes widened as I realised what I was about to film.

"T-the kiss?! First thing?! Straight away?! Jeez could they not have at least let us film a normal scene together first before making us do that!" I exclaimed.

"Hey I don't know what you're complaining about, you just have to lie in an bed, open your eyes, say two words and kiss her and its only a little peck she does, I'll do it if you don't want to!" Elle joked as she began to put the makeup onto my face.

"No no it's fine im happy to kiss her... I mean... I don't mind kissing her...Like I just, um... Yeah its cool I don't mind yeah whataver" I said stumbling over my words. "Hey have you got any gum?" I asked, I needed to smell minty fresh, first impressions are important.

Zendayas POV

"Dude I gotta kiss him today!! That's not until towards the end of the film surley I can film something else first!!" I cried to Hannah, my makeup artist, who just laughed and shook her head.

"I'm sure you'll find it quite easy kissing Zac Efron, plus, its only just one small quick kiss, it's not like you have to make out with him, I think anyone would!" she replied adding some more makeup to me.

"Alright aaand... ACTION!!" Michael, the director, called.

This is it... This is the moment I'd been thinking about all week, well.. Not in these exact circumstances but certainly kissing him.

I'd finished my lines as Zac slowly opened his eyes.

"You're here..." he said softly.

Suddenly, a rush of emotion completely took over my body as I leant forward and planted a kiss on his soft lips, it was only supposed to be the one small kiss.

I Kissed him again, pulled away and looked at him, my nose gently touching his, before kissing him one last time, the whole crew were silent until Michael called out.

"CUT!! Fantastic guys, the emotion in your voice Zendaya was incredible, the 3 small kisses were so so much more effective too, great idea! I don't think we need another take."

I hadn't come up with the idea... It kinda just happened... But it was amazing.

I looked at Zac, who was still lay in the bed on set.

"I um..." i began to say.

"No don't... That was so magical, thank you. Great idea" he said winking at me as he then got up off the bed.

For the rest of the day I couldn't stop thinking about the scene we'd filmed this morning, it felt like nobody else was there, like it was just me and Zac.
