Let the games begin

Today was finally the day of the sports festival and as you walked to school you frantically tried calming yourself down before you threw up everywhere. "Okay (Y/n) deep breaths. It's just a small sports festival. It'll be alright!"

Then Uraraka who was walking with you decided to chip in, "It's also a sports festival that could determine your entire career as a hero!"

"URARAKA YOU'RE NOT HELPING!"

"oops hehe, my bad (Y/n)- (Y/n) where'd you go? Oh, there you are! What are you doing?"

Uraraka walked up to the trash bin you were proceeding to jump into and started to pull you out.

"Leave me in here until the sports festival is over or better yet until I die!"

Uraraka slapped you- not enough to leave your cheek red but to knock to some sense into you.

"UM OW? Ok I'm not gonna lie I actually kind of liked that but we'll save that for another chapter."

"What do you-? Uh, never mind. Who came up with the idea to take Nomu down to help All Might?

"I did?"

"And who got second place on the entrance exam?!"

"I did"

"Now, who's gonna blow the competition away?"

"I Am!"

"Yay!"

you quickly hugged and smiled at her, "Thank you Uraraka I really needed that."

She timidly smiled and blushed, "It was nothing really."

"Come on Uraraka let's go kick some ass!"

"Alright!"

As you and all of your classmates waited in the waiting room, you cursed yourself for drinking so much juice this morning. You put your head down on the table you were sitting as to meditate on trying to not pee yourself. As everyone talked amongst themselves about the festival, you stayed quiet. Only because you had to pee of course.

'Holy crap WHY DID I DO THIS TO MYSELF. It's okay just breathe in and ou-'

"Midoriya" The room quickly got quiet as this was one of the first times that Todoroki had ever initiated a conversation with other classmates.

Izuku spoke up, "Todoroki what is it?"

"Objectively speaking I'm stronger than you "

Izuku let out a startled, "Huh?" which transitioned into "Yeah"

"But... All Might has his eye on you, doesn't he?"

Izuku gasped in shock. You were honestly shocked too and might've said something but you had a feeling that Todoroki was going to call you out next.

'Please don't say anything about me, please don't say anythi-'

"(Y/n)"

'Shit here we go,"

"If I'm still talking in terms of strength, I'd say I'm stronger than you as well. You just happen to be effective in strategizing and surprise attacks but this time I won't let you win. I have to prove something to someone and I won't let you get in the way of it."

The room was quiet.

You stood up with your head down toward the table. You looked up at todoroki who was awaiting your response along with everyone else.

"I have to pee."

Everyone who was listening sighed in disappointment. You ran to the restroom as fast as you could.

Once you finished peeing you made your way back to the room where all your friends waited determined to take up todoroki on his challenge.

When you walked back into the room it was just as quiet as when you left. You smirked at him.

"Izuku and I accept your challenge Right Izuku?" You smiled at him.

He looked hesitant to answer.

'Come on Izu- be strong!'

He nodded with determination "Yeah."

You internally laughed, 'there's the hero I know'

Once again you look up at Todoroki to talk to him, "And you'll be happy to hear that we'll be the ones who win this thing so don't get your hopes up"

Everyone was shocked at your bold statement.

you stuck your hand out for him to shake to which he stared at it with resent.

"Don't worry I washed them"

He tried to walk out of the room until you grabbed his hand and shook it anyway.

"That was so manly (y/n)!" Kirishima excitedly said.

you winked at him in response then you went back to mentally preparing for the festival

As the ceremony for the games started you and your classmates walked through the tunnel to the arena. You looked around and there were so many people watching you, cheering for you.

You hesitantly waved at the crowd to which they cheered louder.

The camera filming the event panned over to you waving to the crowd.

"HONEY IT'S (Y/N)! OUR LITTLE MONST- ahem ANGEL IS ON TV!"

(M/n) popped her head out of the kitchen as she finished grabbing snacks for her and (D/n).

"REALLY?" she said through a mouthful of pretzels. "RECORD THIS ON THE DVR"

"WHERE'S THE REMOTE?!"

"YOU HAD IT LAST!"

A voice appeared from the door and said through a smirk, "You two looking for this?"

"MITSUKI!" (M/n) and (D/n) simultaneously greeted.

Her smirk softened into a smile "Here I brought sandwiches," she said as she handed the sandwiches and remote to (M/n). Mitsuki turned toward the TV to find Bakugou on the screen.

"Ah look there's my little shit."

The R-Rated hero Midnight welcomed Bakugou onto the stage to make his speech.

"This is going to end badly" sighed Kaminari

"Tell me about it," you replied

Bakugou stepped on the stage with his usual hands in pockets walk.

"Sensei"

you held your breath.

"I'm gonna place first."

He walked off stage.

"That stupid" you sighed.

"little shit" Mitsuki groaned.

All the first years booed at class 1-a (bakugou) for being so arrogant.

You rubbed your temples, "Let the games begin."
