As the day progresses it's almost as if the moment with Bakugo never even happened. He's back to his brooding self. I honestly don't understand how Kirishima can put up with his piss-poor attitude.

During lunch, my sleep-deprived brain zones out, staring into the pork cutlet bowl I've only taken a few bites out of. I can't help but wonder what would have transpired had Uncle Ai not found us when he did.

"Y/N?" Midoriya squeaks, his green eyes laced with a hint of concern.

"Huh?" I say, snapping back to reality.

"Are you okay?" He asks. "You've barely touched your food. Are you feeling alright?"

Bakugo looks over at our table. His eyes are narrowed but that doesn't hide the slight worry they express.

"I'm good," I say, shoveling a piece of egg covered meat and a bit of rice in my mouth to prove my point.

"So what are your plans for the rest of the day?" Ochaco asks, changing the topic.

"She and I are doing some combat training," Bakugo says, appearing behind Iida and Uraraka.

A puzzled expression consumes my face.

"We talked about it earlier today," he smirks.

My eyebrows are still furrowed when I ask, "We did?"

Bakugo winks and I immediately agree to his false statement. "I'll meet you outside when you're done eating." He walks away, confidence apparent in his stride.

Three sets of eyes look at me with confusion in their features. I give them a quick shrug of my shoulders and a reassuring smile.

Standing up I take my bowl to the dish collection area, three-quarters of the meal untouched and make my way to the front door. Slipping into my tennis shoes, I meet up with Bakugo who's patiently waiting on the front steps.

"I guess I missed when we made these plans." I stand in front of him.

"I guess so," he quips. A smile teases at his lips. He walks to the side of the building and takes up a fighting stance.

I pull my hair in a messy bun and notice a few pairs of eyes watching us from the window. Kirishima, Kaminari, Sero and Mina are at one window while Midoriya, Iida, and Ochaco stand at another. Bakugo doesn't seem to notice, or if he does he doesn't care.

"Don't hold back," he says, a playful gleam in his eyes.

I take up my own stance. "I wouldn't dream of it."

Without using our Quirks we are fairly evenly matched. Making our shots at each other below the neck. Neither of us seems to be winning at the moment. Until he swipes his leg, knocking my feet out from under me. Taking advantage of throwing me off balance, he goes in for the win, tackling me. With one hand he holds my arms over my head and keeps my legs down by straddling my waist. Our faces are less than a foot away.

       "I win," he breathes.

I'm already struggling to catch my breath, but the proximity of our faces causes any air I take in to hitch in my throat. My eyes flick down to his lips then back to his red irises.

"Um?" A confused voice says from out of view.

I tilt my chin up and see an upside down Todoroki peering at us. Bakugo stands up, offering his hand to me.
