Prologue

 “Austin give me the remote we are not watching power rangers,”

 “Dylan stop it I want to watch it,” Austin complained

 “No so give me the damn remote I’m in charge anyways remember,” Dylan said annoyed at his younger brother Austin

 “Actually Dylan your not mom and dad put me in charge so I could watch you and Austin,” Ashley said smirking at Dylan putting her hand on her hip like her mom always did when scolding Dylan.

 “I’m 15 your 12 I’m in charge,” Dylan scoffed at his younger sibling swiping the remote from Austin who immediately jumped on his brother to take the remote back. “Austin for fucks sake get off of me goddamn,” Dylan said pushing his brother off.

 “Dylan he’s 8 you’re 15 and there’s about 5 T.V.’s in this house go to a different one,” Ashley said helping Austin off the floor

 “I want this T.V. the game is on and this is the biggest T.V. so leave me alone Ashley,” he said flipping the channel to the game pushing Ashley out of the way.

 “Come on Austin want to go make a snack?” she asked taking him to the kitchen leaving Dylan to his game

 Ashley took Austin to the kitchen where they both prepared some Mac and Cheese both of their favorite food. “So Aus extra cheese?” she asked Austin messing up his hair

 “Yes but I can do it I’m already eight,” he said putting eight fingers in the air showing Ashley

 ”I know Aus your birthday was a few weeks ago don’t worry I remember here you go bud,” she said handing him the cheese and lifting him up on the table. “Ok here you go Aus remember not to much but not to little,”

 “I know, I know,” Austin said putting the cheese

 “Sure, sure Aus,” she said ruffling his hair again

 “Ashley stop with my hair,” he said patting it back down continuing to put the extra cheese making her laugh. She heard a knock on the door interrupting her and Austin. “Austin stay here ok I’ll be right back,” she said lifting him off the table back on the floor.

 She left Austin alone in the kitchen and walked over to Dylan, “Dylan someone knocked do we open the door or not?”

 “I thought you were the one in charge,” he said scoffing

“Dylan stop being an asshat what do we do?” she said annoyed

 “Ok, ok let me see who it is,” he said and groaned getting up off of the couch. He walked to the door Ashley right next to him and looked through the peep hole.

 “Well I don’t know who they are so just be quiet and go back with Aus,” he said giving her a smile and sending her with back with Aus and sat down to watch the game.
