Chapter 10 [M?]

"I think."

Jennie's POV:

My eyes widen at the realization of my words. I was puzzled by the mindless words that was said from my mouth. Why was that even said? What was the meaning of those two words? My mind went completely blank as soon as Lisas smile captivated my very existence. It was literally brighter than the sun that shimmered against the water and bounced into her soft features. How can one person, someone I have only known for a short amount of time, affect me so much. Lisa tilts her head in confusion and furrows her eyebrows,

"What?" She asks as curiosity begins to fill her giant doe eyes. I then began to feel nervous under her gaze, I quickly clear my throat,

"I.. I said y..yes." I stutter out. She chuckles and smiles warmly to me, causing a weird bright sensation to grow in my chest.

'What the hell is happening to me?'

She points to the water,

"Well, shall we?" I look at the water and shake my head no, the water looked freezing cold.

"You go first," I shortly reply. She scrunches her eyebrows in confusion.

"If you weren't planning on going to the water why did you come with me?" She asks. I feel my eyes widen at her question,

'Why did I go if I wasn't planning on swimming?' I ask myself. Was it the way she asked me so gently? Was it because I didn't want anyone else with her besides me? The way they were eyeing her body with desire caused a terrible feeling to stir inside me.

I quickly shake those thoughts away, not believing that those were the reason.

'You just wanted to go for a walk, that's it.' I convincingly say. There shouldn't be any other reason besides that. I shrug,

"I just wanted to go for a walk," I nonchalantly respond. She sighs sadly,

"I didn't know my Nini could be so boring," she says while dramatically looking away. A small smile breaks out of my face, I was amused by her over dramatic sigh. She could definitely be an actress.

"What is that suppose to mean?" I ask. She just shrugs, and gazes into the ocean sadly.

"I just thought you were different from the rest of the girls." She clicks her tongue and shakes her head in fake disappointment. She places her hands on her bare hips and continues,

"And here I thought you were special, what a shame." I roll my eyes and scoff.

"Aish, you're so irritating." I begin turn around and walk away but she quickly rushes towards me and grabs my wrist, pulling me back. She laughs,

"I'm joking! You're obviously special to me," she says softly while gazing at me with so much fondness, I felt as if I was nearing unconsciousness. I was so distracted by her words that I haven't realized she was pooling me to the water until I felt my thighs get hit by a soft wave. I gasp and shiver as the coldness of the water was splashing onto my stomach. I abruptly stop and try to pry my hand out of Lisa grasp,

"Wait Lisa." She chuckles and tries to pull me a little father from the shore,

"Come on Nini! It'll be fun!" I shake my head and quickly pull my wrist out of her hand, but the action was so abrupt that it caused her to completely fall into the water. I gasp but quickly erupt in a fit of laugher as Lisa slowly lifts up her head from the water. The sight of her bangs awkwardly parted, showing her big forehead caused me to lean forward and clutch my stomach, laughing hysterically.
