[Eng] Chapter 24▪ The Dilemma

Tia was lying on the bed, massaging her own forehead.

"What happened?" Arjun asked on entering the room.

"My legs and head are aching a lot...."

Without saying anything, he went to her side of the bed and started massaging her legs.

"Hey, hey, what are you doing!" she tried to stop him.

"It's okay, Rani-sa. I know how to massage legs. Don't be so orthodox."

"It's not about being orthodox. I was saying because you haven't taken a bath yet. First, go and take a bath," she teased him.

He shook his head sideways in disbelief and she laughed.

"Now go! I will get the massage from you only."

"You are impossible, Rani-sa."

Arjun got up but she held his hand.

"Now what happened?"

"Aaarjun...." she looked horrified, "ba...by kicked," her eyes were getting teary.

He stared at her womb and slowly forwarded his hand to feel it.

"I don't feel anything," he was disappointed.

"Maybe baby agrees with me that only you should massage my legs. That's why he or she kicked," she giggled.

"Now I could feel it!"

She stared at him to see the amusement on his face. His emotion seemed genuine, nothing fake.

"See! He or she agrees with me."

They shared a good hearty laughter.

ArIa were leaving the yoga session but Tia stopped mid-way seeing a pregnant couple playing with their 5-years-old. She watched them laugh and smile, imagining herself and Arjun in their place.

"Rani-sa! Come?" Arjun broke her chain of thoughts.

She touched her womb and smiled, "Let's go."

All were at the dining hall for the breakfast when Arjun and Tia arrived.

"Happy anniversary, bhai-sa and bhabi-sa!" wished Gayatri.

"Thanks," Tia thanked with a smile.

One-by-one, everyone else wished the same.

"Arreh, Rana Jai! When did you come?" Arjun greeted him with a hug.

"It's the first wedding anniversary of the King and Queen of Jaipur! How could I not come?"

"Rajkumari Tejaswini didn't come?" Tia asked Jai innocently.

"No, Rani-sa. I came alone. This time I will do her part of work as well," Jai replied with a smirk.

"Work?" Gayatri wondered.

"Partying. I will party on behalf of her as well."

"Good remembrance! The party is tomorrow, but what's the plan for today?" asked Priya.

"Asking these two is of no use. As usual they might not have planned anything. That's why, I and Jai planned something," replied Gayatri.

"Do whatever you guys want to do. I will just stay at home and look after tomorrow's preparation," said Maharaj.

"Okay, baba-sa."

"So what's the plan?" Praneet was excited.

"You'll find that out at night," winked Gayatri.
