Staring out at the lawn from the window took Tia back in those moments where a little girl and a comparatively older boy laughed and played together in that same lawn.

She felt a hand on her shoulder and turned to find Arjun, gesturing towards the others. One by one, she quickly glanced at everyone.

Jai was sitting against the headboard of the bed, looking pale and weak, while Gayatri was beside him, holding his hand. Praneet was sitting on the handle of the single-seater sofa on which Priya was sitting.

All eyes were looking at her expectantly. She closed hers and took a deep breath before beginning her story.

Even though three of them were aware of it, yet they felt a pang in their hearts hearing the fact again. Because they knew she didn't deserve it.

"What!" Gayatri was shocked beyond explanation as she was the only one unaware of many things. "Bhabi-sa, please itna ganda mazak matt kijiye humare saath. Bhai-sa, dekhiye na Bhabi-sa kaisa mazak kar rahi hai."

No one replied, everyone was silent including Jai as if he also knew about it beforehand.

"Aap sab itne normal kaise hain?" she was surprised to find no one reacting. "Kya... Kya aap sabko ye baat pata thi? Jai, tum bhi?"

Jai closed his eyes and let a small droplet of tear escape. Tia witnessed it and let the tears she had been controlling fall down without caring to wipe them.

"Pehle sab thik tha... Lekin 2 saal baad jo hua..." she couldn't continue any further.

Then she sensed a hand entwine its fingers with hers. She knew it was Arjun, trying to pass on some courage to her to continue further.

"Priya ke bhagne ke baad, mera bhi bahar jana band karwa dia gaya. Kyun ki unnhe darr tha ki kahi main bhi na bhaag jaun."
