Okay so months and months after my coming out my mom, who really had me fooled I really thought she was okay with it like dead serious I thought she was 100% okay but no, asked me just like my sister a stupid question pointed towards my sexuality.
"Ellie are you a lesbian?"
"What?"
"Are you a lesbian?"
"No. I already told you I am demisexual."
"That's doesn't exist."
"Yes it does."
"No. That's something people made up for people who don't want to come out of the closet. You can only be bi, straight, or gay. So what are you?"
"Demisexual."
"Emma is your sister a lesbian?"
"No."
"Mom! I am demisexual."
"Are you more interest in guys or girls?"
"I don't care about that! I care more about personality!"
"So your bi."
No!!! I. AM. DEMISEXUAL!!"
"Okay we have to go bye!"
Note-only reason I didn't get in a fight with my mom was because my sister pulled me out to her car. Otherwise I would have gotten in a very big argument. Why couldn't she just accept it? Of course she sometimes ask me but I just give her the same answer. She just shakes her head and I keep my head held high.
