Came out as non-binary to my sister today. Anyone reading this if your thinking "Well I thought you were demigirl?"
I am. But my sister wouldn't really understand if I told her I am demigirl. Also demigirl is part of the non binary gender identities. So I'm not lying about being non binary, I'm just not telling her the term I found that I feel fit me.
Now for the reaction. She was confused, and asked me if it was the "One where some days you think your more boy then girl and then your more girl then boy the next day?"
I didn't know how to answer so I said sure. She also told me on the way to the car she would need time to understand what it meant and time to get use to it but she's okay with it.
