Kylie's POV

We talked about how we are going to spend our vacation here. Rachelle and Maria decided to stay in Maria's aunt's house. Glad they made that decision. They don't need to know what's going on in our house, you know, ghosts and stuffs. They'll be scared if they would know. I hope Kris wouldn't show up now that my friends are here.

Then, we heard the doorbell rang. Yehey! It's time to go for an ADVENTURE!

Hihihi! Translation: It's time to flirt with Mr. Dream Boy!

Hahaha! Just joking! I'm not a slut. I'm a decent woman.

Mark showed up just in time. "Hi, Kylie. You're gorgeous. Anyway, where are your friends?" he asked, staring at me intently. I'm sure that my face right now is as red as a tomato.

"Oh! They're getting ready! Come in!" I led him to a wooden chair beside mine with a smile on my face.

"Hmph! You wouldn't let your brother sit on that chair just a moment ago and now you're letting him sit on it?!" Jake asked in disbelief, walking down the stairs.

"Well, you're not that special, so..." I smirked at him.

He faked a hurt expression and put a hand on his chest.

Mark just laughed at us. When he's about to sit on the wooden chair, the chair backed away, as if someone's pulling it.

My eyes widened as I realize something was not right. Oh, no, no, no....Krissy!

Mark stumbled backwards. NO! What have you done, you stupid good-for-nothing ghost!

"Oh, my God! Mark! Are you okay?!" I quickly stood up and ran towards him to help him stand up.

"What just happened?" he asked while standing up. Oh, no! How am I going to explain it? 'Oh, nothing. Some stupid ghost just pulled a prank on you. Can you believe it? A ghost! How cool, right?'  Like I would tell him that.

Maria and Rachelle went down the stairs and stared at Mark.

I almost thought that Maria's eyes would turn into hearts if that's possible. And Rachelle being Rachelle, wasn't interested in Mark. I glared daggers at Maria. When they looked at me, I gave them a he's-mine!-look. They just rolled their eyes.

I was about to say something but got interrupted by the hissing of a cat. It's the same cat I saw days ago and it's glaring at...Mark?

Jake immediately jumped away from the cat upon seeing it. All heads turned to him who made a ninja move.

"Ah! Hahaha...Ow! My foot hurts!" he said, jumping up and down, and faked a pained expression. And to add more effects, he's touching and massaging his other foot.

"Jake, are you alright?" Maria asked. Oh, great. She actually bought it. Too much affection turned her into this creature. Stupid girl.

I know I shouldn't have said that, but that's how we treat each other. Sometimes, if you tripped on something and stumbled, instead of helping you, they'll just laugh at you. Wow. What a bunch of good friends. You can relate to me, right?

Many of us have friends like that. If you don't, it's probably you. Hahaha. Stop. Just where is this story heading to? Sorry. I was carried away. Back to the scene. Action!
