Chapter Three

LALISA MANOBAN (LISA)

I woke up to the voice of a high-pitched girl whispering in my ear. "Wake up, Lisa. Jennie made us pancakes..." After her words, I smelt the scent of freshly baked pancakes. Instantly, I sat up straight.

I looked at Rosé, who chuckled upon seeing my bed hair. "Go fix yourself up, I'm gonna go to Chu's room now." She then went out my room, leaving me to prepare myself.

I did my daily routine, after that, I changed into the white dress, wore the boots, combed my hair and placed it into the hair style that Rosé did yesterday: a high ponytail.

I went out of my room, craving for the pancakes that Jennie had made. I went into the living room and saw that four plates were already prepared. I looked at Jennie, who was already seated.

"Come here, I'm waiting for Rosé and Jisoo," she said before patting down a seat. I went over and sat down beside her.

Suddenly, I felt a freezing sensation. I looked over to Jennie who was also slightly shivering. She released a puff of air and mumbled, "A visitor is here with us today."

Then, Rosé and Jisoo walked into the room. In the corner of my eye, I saw Jisoo looking over to something— or someone, beside Jennie. She looked at whatever was that with confusion.

She then sat infront of Jennie, Rosé sat infront of me.

"Let's dig in! I'm starving!" Rosé exclaimed before poking her fork into the pancakes and taking a bite of it.

As we continued eating, Jisoo asked, "Shall I tell them the usual today? We're going to the meeting place, right?"

I swear, I heard someone whisper 'probably'. But since none of them mentioned anything about it, I chose to ignore the voice I heard.

"Yep," Rosé replied with her mouth stuffed with pancake. Jennie gave her a tissue to wipe the remaining crumbs on her face.

"I'm done, I'll go and prepare my stuff, 'kay?" They all nodded their heads at my statement and continued eating their pancakes. I went over to my room, and before walking in, I heard Rosé say something.

"By the way, tell us if you need anything. Okay, Chu?"

Now that I think of it, why do they call her Chu? They must have known her for such a long time to know what her personality is before.

I walked into my room and locked the door.

My eyes wandered around the place. Like its name: Sapphire Wing, this place was filled with the blue gems. They hung around the ceiling like lights, which gave the room a blue glow.

Jisoo had left, telling us that she would be attending a meeting. So Rosé and Jennie are the ones leading me to this place.

They opened the huge white doors to reveal a room with the same sapphires hanging on the ceiling. Book shelves, couches, red curtains. The place was like a library.

Then I noticed boys sitting on the couches. I froze upon seeing two familiar faces. One was Suga, the other was... Jungkook.

I blushed, unintentionally.

They all wore the same white suits, like how us girls wore the same white dress. They were all messing around. Like how this guy was trying to get Jungkook's attention, or like how the others were playing this random game with their hands and laughed endlessly.

"Guys!" Rosé called, all of the boys faced her and gave her a look of confusion. Then, their eyes made its way towards me. I gulped in nervousness.

I'm not so good in making first impressions.

"Uh, hi. I'm Lisa," I introduced myself, to add, awkwardly. They all waved at me. Then, a red head stood up and gave me the brightest smile I'd ever seen. "Yo! I'm Hoseok!" I gave him a smile in response.

"I'm Jin," the black-haired boy said. Then he looked over to the person beside him. "This pink guy is Namjoon, or RM. Whichever you prefer to call him."

Then I looked at the person beside Jungkook. We both made eye contact. I stared at him, waiting for him to introduce himself. And he stared back at me, for absolutely no reason.

"Uhm, what are you two both doing?" Rosé suddenly spoke up. I shrugged. "I'm waiting for him to introduce himself."

"Oh!" The guy suddenly laughed. "I'm Jimin. Sorry," he said, scratching the back of his head nervously. I just gave him a wave before looking at Rosé and Jennie.

"Oh, by the way. Where's Jisoo?" Jin asked. Rosé smiled before replying, "Doing the usual to save our butts."

"Ah."

The doors then opened. I looked back and saw a girl with short black hair. She had bangs to cover off her forehead. Huge round eyes, matching with her round face.

"Oh, you guys are here again?" She asked, her voice high yet soft. Then she looked at me. "Oh, I'm Eunha by the way." She bowed.

I smiled at her. "I'm Lisa," I introduced myself.

Then, her eyes left mine and went towards one of the boys. Unconsciously, I followed where her gaze was directed.

Slowly, my gaze made its way to the brunette sitting on the couch.

My breath hitched. Is there something going on with her and Jungkook?
