Lmao I'm sorry I haven't been updating high school is an asscrack but yeah this is a little thank you and something that happened within the gap from this book to the next.

I can't even lie it's cringey and I hate it

So let's just put it simply...

Jeno and Jaemin got in a pointless fight, like all couples do, and put their relationship on a small break. And, like I said, like all couples do, they both hurt from it and have a strong urge to talk to the other but won't.

But it won't fix anything, ignoring the pain in their hearts each day that this goes on. Without the others touch, life is basically pointless.

So, with a great pain in Jaemins heart, he leaves his mom's house (that he'd been staying at since the argument) and begins to head for Jeno's house.

A normal day of moping around for Jeno.

The fight was almost 2 years into their relationship, and it put a pause on their relationship for 3 months. How bad was the fight may you be asking? Not too bad, actually, it was just a misunderstanding on Jaemins part, but it kinda ruined a bit of their trust. So, they part ways for a while.

Now, why does the timing of all this have to do with anything?

Well, it's the time when they don't have to start college for a while, so they've just been at home and such. And like I said, Jeno has just been a bum, moping around like a depressed sack of potatoes.

Of course, Ten and Johnny noticed this and know about the break and have been trying to get him to something besides moan about how much he misses him. So, of course, they tell him to talk to him and he doesn't do that, instead continuing to wallow in his own misery.

Yet when Johnny sees a familiar car pull up to the driveway he loses his shit.

"Honey! Honey! Come here!" Johnny whisper-yells at Ten, who's reading a magazine on the other side of the room. The Thai male first quirks an eyebrow, then quietly sets his magazine aside and stands to look out the window.

He has the same reaction Johnny just had and whips his head around to stare at his husband with wide eyes, turning back to look out the window at Jaemins car, and the younger male stepping out of it.

From what the couple inside could see, the boy was a complete mess. His hair is disheveled, sticking in every direction and his outfit seemed to look like he had just climbed in the closet blind and picked out a pair of sweatpants and a large sweater. His eyes seem to be sunken it, large bags under his eyes.

To be frank, he looks like complete shit.

Ten and Johnny wheel around to the door as fast as possible before Jaemin can see them, Johnny peeking through the peephole and Ten fumbling with the lock. Thankfully, Jaemin doesn't hear the commotion inside the house and rings the doorbell, causing the pair to almost fall on each other.

They open the door automatically, Ten grinning from ear to ear and Johnny speaking up.

"Jaemin! How have you been? Please tell me you're here to make up with Jeno, because from the looks of it you're both in the same state." Johnny blabbers, his hands twisting in odd gestures that make Jaemin hint at a smile.

"I've been better. And yes, I'm here to see Jeno." Jaemin sighs and jumps as Ten wraps the boy in a sudden tight hug. He smiles slightly at the olders gesture.

"We were so worried for the both of you. Jeno's been a mess since he decided to put you guys on pause." Johnny explains and Jaemins eyes sadden. They were both hurting, and they both didn't realize how much it effected the other.
