I watched shuten drinking his sorrows away as i felt my nails dig into my skin as my hands balled into fist i felt my long hair sway with the wind as i leave without a sound

my eye was locked onto the spirit called momji, i charged forwards towards the female grabbing her neck my nails digging into her "gah...wha..are..you...doing"she croaked "isnt it obvious you disgusting cannibal"i growled as i tightened my grip on her neck oh how i hated the self absorbed demoness she made everything so much worse...

"yn...i cant allow you to fight" my eyes go wide

YOU JUST NEVER FUCKEN LISTEN!" i am taken aback by shutens out burst i turn to see him gritting his teeth his hands balled into fists "shuten?"i whisper out he looks at me with a clear resolve as if he made up his mind in a flash he is in-front of me her grabbed my chin "cant you see?...i cant afford to lose you..."he says sounding desperate and not like the confident man i knew "heh....aren't i pathetic...i wait until something like this happens to tell you"he mumbled i look at him confused "what?" he smiles softly "you and ibaraki are to much alike...always so oblivious of these things"he chuckles as he cups my cheeks "i've been in love with you...for so long yn....but i was to cowardly to tell you....hmp what a demon king am i.." i feel my heart race as i bring my lips to his, i feel his arms wrap around me holding me gently

i hold my left eye in agony as the wounds on my body were taking their toll but in the end all this pain was worth it i join ibaraki who had lost his arm recovering shutens head we were both silent as ibaraki began to resurrected shuten i feel tears fall as i see those violet eyes open a maple leaf obscured my view of him for a few seconds
