I was cleaning away the left over debre in the courtyard  I smile as I wipe the sweat from my brow "good as new"i sigh feeling triumphant I'm grateful for being able to see the defeat of orochi through...since I had a illness that had no cure....no doctor or healer could save me from the disease that would eventually take my life... so I was grateful for every day I had...

"Ah yn-chan"i turn my head to see seimei with a new face "hi seimei-sama"I tilt my head as I study the new male a medicine seller? He smiles "this is the medicine seller"i blink my eyes confused "but what's his name?"I ask the man smiled "I just go by the medicine seller"he says with a smile I nod slowly "but do you have a name I could call you?"I ask he chuckled at my confusion

"I suppose you can call me Kusuriuri"

"nice to meet you Kusuriuri I'm yn ln"

After my first meeting with Kusuriuri we became inseparable he was like a encyclopedia of knowledge about herbs and medicine he also knew alot about mononoke

"Hey Kusuriuri what's this for?"I ask as I hold out pink flowers

"Its called fireweed it mostly used for
Fevers, Migraines, Prostate health, Sleep problems, and Stomach problems sometimes its used on the skin for burns, rashes, and other skin problems It also can reduce  swelling in the ear, nose, and throat"he informs me I stare at the flower in awe of how much it's used for "can you just eat it?"I question Kusuriuri smirks "you can but its often is taken in The form of an herbal tea"he chuckles before I could respond I'm am hit by fits of violent coughs

Medicine seller/Kusuriuri pov

My eyes go wide as I see the h/c haired woman double over coughing violently "yn-sama!?" I dig through my many herbs and medicines and pull out ones that help with coughing I quickly rush back to her and kneel infront of her "here yn-sama take thes..."I am unable to finish my sentence when I see blood leaking from her hand as it covered her mouth no....

Timeskip

Yn lays unmoving in my lap as I supported her I gave her some medicine to help her regain her strength and to help stop the coughing but it was a temporary fix to an incurable disease I felt so helpless....I've seen people ravaged by this rare disease that eventually killed them....knowing that yn has this....

"Th...thank...you Kusuriuri"she whispered out "dont speak yn-sama...you need to rest"i see her gives me a tiny nod I feel myself wrap my arms around her as she drifted to sleep

Timeskip

Once yn woke she explained to me herself about her disease and the little time she had left and how see was grateful for meeting me which made my heart ache at the thought she wasn't ever going to be by my side... I am always was alone....i never thought I needed someone else...but the thought of losing yn....makes me feel like everything around me crumbling....even  my existence...

"Kusuriuri dont cry.. "my eyes go wide as my hand touches my face as I feel my tears fall so it's true..I grab yns hand and hold it within mine, I smile bitterly knowing that I wouldn't be able to experience these kinds of emotions on such a level if it wasn't for her

As I spent ever moment I could with yn I learned she was quite open about her fatal illness and was always smiling I admired her....how she could be so up beat about everything....how she smiled knowing death was shadowing her every day....how kind and outgoing she is....and how open she was with her illness....which was going to make it even harder when it was time to say goodbye...it made my stomach turn and my heart ache as I stare openly at her "Kusuriuri dont be gloomy! Your going to make it rain!"I feel a smile spread across my face "my apologizes yn-sama... I don't want it to rain and ruin our time together"she smiles and grabs my hand leading me away yes...I can't worry about the future without her....I need to focus on the present with her....

Yn pov

I've been getting weaker and weaker I knew my life was coming to an end...I've been bedridden for a few weeks now and occasionally I would get visited by my friends but someone didn't leave my side someone who I loved i think about the man i love..  his light colored hair his unique markings his sharp features and most importantly his kind heart "yn-sama how are you doing" Kusuriuri says as he opens the door with a tray in his hands I smile softly at him and I try to sit up but he swiftly put the tray down and is by my side supporting me "you shouldn't strain yourself"he says as I lean against him "I brought you some herbal tea and rice porridge"he tells me "thank you Kusuriuri" before I could grab the bowl he beats me to it I watch him as he blows on it before he presses it to my lips and feeds it to me "how is it?"he asked me "its really good thank you Kusuriuri"i wince as he puts the tea cup to my lips it was always bitter with the herbs he added but I let the tea enter my mouth my eyes go wide "its sweet...?"I say surprised I hear Kusuriuri chuckle as he picks up the empty dishes and places them back on the tray "what is it?"I ask

"What is what?"

"The herb that you used"

I see him smile genuinely

"Fireweed" he says before leaving

3rd pov

The time had come
Yn was on her death bed surrounded by shikigami and onmyoji "Kusuriuri...."yn called out weakly as they let him through he holds her hand "I'm here yn.."he whispered yn smiled softly "I love You..."with the last bits of her strength she kissed him  they both stayed like that until yn lost her strength and fell back onto the bed "my only regret is that I couldn't be able to be with all of you longer...." and with that yn died leaving Kusuriuri weeping hugging her lifeless body seimei stepped forward and preformed the same onmjustu he did form inugami and sparrow yns physical body disappeared
"yn... " Kusuriuri croaked out

"Kusuriuri!"

Timeskip

Yn became a guardian spirit for Kusuriuri

"Thank you onmyoji-sama.."Kusuriuri bowed infront of seimei "thank you seimei"yn said softly as she swirled around the medicine seller "anytime...have safe travels Kusuriuri and yn chan"he said waving as Kusuriuri left

Even though yn could not bring him bodily pleasure and intimacy Kusuriuri did not care as long as she was with him he had no need for such meaningless things he was happy with having her by his side on his many journeys to find mononoke
