i watch as the many yokai trained together but one male trained on his own his long hair blowing in the wind  "yoto hime!"i shout he looks at me "yn-sama...you shouldn't get close to me.."he mumbles "o..okay..."i say as i shuffle awkwardly its always like this...i wish he knew that its not good to be alone....

"yn-sama you should stop coming to see me before you get hurt..."

yoto hime pov

i want to push my master away as far as possible my heart ached at my words i truly loved her but i will only bring her pain....or even worse...
"yoto hime...your my shikigami...and not only that but a friend  even if you don't see me as one..."

a friend my heart beats faster as i hear the kindness in her tone

"and I refuse to let you be consumed by loneliness!"she announces why can't you just forget about me! why must you make it difficult! why can't you understand i don't deserve your kindness....why cant you see i will only bring you nothing but pain!

"yoto hime you can't keep pushing everyone away...." she says as she places her hand on my cheek making me jump and almost swing my weapon at her

"SEE I WILL ONLY BRING YOU PAIN IF YOU STAY CLOSE TO ME!"

yn pov

i feel my stomach turn as i see him leave "yoto hime...."i whisper out

i hadn't seen yoto hime in weeks making me worry i had asked otengu my other shikigami if he had seen him witch he said no so i asked him to try to find him i sit on the porch looking at the setting sun otengu should be coming back now...hopefully he found yoto hime... i hear a rustle "otengu?"i ask my eyes go wide when i see a demon who covered in dried blood "shit..."i growl knowing all my shikigami were gone i get up and go into a defensive stance bringing my amulets into the battle it charges at me bearing its teeth i quickly drop to the ground and roll out of the way i hear a big crash i look to see it had broken down the walls to my home i throw an amulet at it as it let out a horrid scream before it turned back to me rage in its eyes 'tch come at me brute!"i shout taunting it to come Closer i smirk as it charges at me before it could reach me all my amulets sprung from the ground immobilizing the demons as the attached themselves to the creature i breathed out heavily as i stumbled backwards before collapsing i used to much energy.... i look forward at the monster my eyes went wide as i see it breaking through my amulets

yoto hime pov

my eyes go wide when i see yn-sama on the ground breathing heavily as a demon was about to kill her i run faster than i ever ran before i scoop her up into my arms barely dodging the creature "yo...yoto hime?"she whimpers "yes its me....yn-sama dont worry i will protect you..."i say as i set her down gently on a tree branch before jumping down "i wont allow you to hurt my master..."i growl as i readied my weapon before charging at it i sliced through its flesh effortlessly its limbs went flying as i landed gracefully i glare at it corpse before I jump back to yn and carry her bridal style before jumping down i felt her arms wrap around my neck as her soft lips touch my own she suddenly pulls away avoiding eye contact "sorry....i shouldn't ha..."i dont allow her to finish and pulled her into a kiss myself throwing all cautions to the wind our tongue intertwined with each other yn-sama i love you.....more than you'll ever know...

yn POV

before i knew it yoto hime was on top of me he pulled away looking at me ashamed "yn...im sorry..i"i smile slightly "its okay yoto hime...i started this mess.."he looked at me conflicted "i don't want to hurt you...."i place my hand on his cheek " you wont yoto hime...you will protect me not hurt me"i say as i kiss him and he returns it ten fold "ahem...am i interrupting something?"my eyes go wide and so does yotos as we turn our heads to see otengu who looked annoyed "if you wanted privacy you should have just asked instead of sending me on a meaningless search..."he grumbled before leaving me and yoto were blushing
